I ordered this cabinet and assembled it. Easy to do. One of the drawer slides was damaged and the bottom drawer wouldn't go in. I contacted Amazon and they requested a replacement from the actual seller. It took a couple of weeks (the seller is in China), but I did receive the replacement and when installed, it worked perfectly. It looks great and the outlets will be very useful when I use it as a stand for my guitar amplifiers. One of my main trepidations about buying from Amazon was what would happen if I received damaged material. Those fears, at least in this case, have been answered. This was such a great purchase for my office. I am in an office that is about an 8x10 room and it fits perfectly and does not take up a lot of space. It is very durable and looks great. I purchased two of these units and they've proven to be quite effective. What I especially appreciate are the raised sides and back — a thoughtful design choice that keeps the additional storage unit I placed on top from sliding too far back. My only critique is the drawer depth; an extra inch or two would make a noticeable difference. There's a substantial gap between the drawers and the frame which would have still left plenty of room for the power cord to exit without obstruction if the drawers were slight deeper. I read almost all the reviews, and I always start with the 1 stars, which almost caused me to skip this cabinet. I’m so glad I didn’t. This is a beautiful piece for what it is. Yes, it’s particle board, but for the $100-$200 range, I certainly wouldn’t expect it to be real wood. I have assembled many, many pieces of particle board furniture in my life and this had some of the best instructions ever. All the holes lined up perfectly, and the piece is super solid. And to boot, it matched my new UpLift walnut-colored laminate desk perfectly. I honestly couldn’t believe it! I’m so happy with this purchase that I had to write a review. Keep in mind the dimensions as this is not a large file cabinet. But do not hesitate to buy if it’s what you need. ... show more

Instructions are pretty good if you take your time. Finished look is beautiful. Previously I had two open wire carts and metal file cabinet. All 4 contents fit in this one and looks great. Also printer fits nicely on top.

The filing cabinet was easy to assemble. Looks nice and parts seem as good quality. Instructions good, just have to follow them exactly. I like to organize my parts first, look over instructions quickly, then build. If a 68 year woman can build it in less than 3 hours, anyone can.
