    • You get what you pay for
The biggest thing about this is you get what you pay for. So keep this in mind with my star review. No one talks about this but there is a constant flicker, I believe it's because of 30fps on the actual camera. (Feels like you are in a found-footage video because of the way it captures the lighting, it dulls out the image and the flickering adds an effect.) On Zoom it seems like it's not as visible but for OBS and Discord, it's very visible. The actual picture quality is not the worse, but it is not what many say it is. It is not as clear and the contrast is bad. The software of the camera such as brightness, contrast, hue, and etc. seems to not change anything. The whole program seems to not do anything with the camera. (Really plug and play I guess) I was able to find slight loopholes with this though, by using programs. In OBS I am using filters to help with brightness and contrast, while for everything else I use NVIDIA Broadcast it seemed to help fix the picture quality. For the most part, the flickering is still there. The actual camera build is not bad having hard plastic feels a little fragile, the wire is a bit short and a bit cheap though, I have my computer tower set up under my desk, barely reaches enough to get to the monitor raiser with its stand. So if you have something similar please keep this in mind if you wanted to put it on your monitor you might want to get a wire extender. ... show more

The build quality of the camera is great. Picture quality is good. There are some things that can be odd in low light settings as the camera will try to correct for those settings. Cinematic in style and look as well as a more fish eye style lens. If you are someone just starting with streaming or need a basic camera for Zoom and remote meetings this is a solid choice. The price is great for the quality. I did experience some clicks and pops with the audio but they may be due to me using the new Apple M1 so i wont hold it against Fifine. In my opinion pairing this with one of Fifine's K690 Mics would be an amazing combo for a streamer. ... show more

Don't believe all the reviews here. This camera wouldn't function with any of the lighting options I had available - ring lights, studio diffusers, LED strips or ceiling bulbs - without flickering lines and fuzz. No flickering with natural lighting, but it has an auto brightness/contrast that dims the camera feed to near complete darkness that can't be turned off, and it's still fuzzy and out of focus. I've got a 720p Logitech camera that's almost ten years old, looks better than this. A lot of video reviews use OBS to correct the color and lighting, but that's not what most people are looking for with a plug and play camera. It doesn't come with any additional software to tweak color, exposure, or light level either. Recommend against using this device. ... show more

I think the image quality looks great on this thing. Fifine is my go-to company for streaming peripherals. I stream with this cam and the Fifine T669 mic. I use this with Nvidia Broadcast and I love it! Fifine is the best bang for the buck! The only con for me is the length of the USB cable, which is about 5ft long. This is a very easy camera to use. It is perfect for a start up. It does not actually focus as well close up but it does fine at mid ranges. I am using it as a fall back to teach private art lessons that are client specific. It works well with facebook and youtube. I reccomend it to anyone on a budget and just starting out. ... show more

I got this webcam for streaming and online college and it is pretty nice quality for being under 50 dollars. I noticed that the quality can be inconsistent depending on the program that is it on. For example, it will look great on stream labs but might look a little fuzzy on discord. I haven't found a software to adjust the camera settings yet. It does auto adjust the brightness which is fine, but when the lighting looks great it wants to adjust to my window in the back and make me look dark so I will need front lighting during the day sometimes. ... show more

The Fifine k420 is a great 2k webcam. I like that the new standard for webcams is now 2K and this webcam is a great entry point into better resolution. Its really good in low lights, the large field of view and an included tripod is great to seen in a 36 dollar webcam.
