  • A fantastic low-budget option!
The media could not be loaded. The SC1 is a fantastic low budget audio interface. Plug and play, it works immediately without needing to install drivers or any software. Operation has been completely reliable, with no glitches. Sound quality is quite good and operation is easy. Intelligent switching that puts the microphone on both left and right channels when used in microphone mode, and microphone on one channel an instrument on another when instrument input is enabled. Some minor limitations, the microphone preamplifier does not have a great amount of gain so a few microphones that are particularly low output (Shure SM7 etc) may not be a good choice for this unit. However most microphones work with no issue at all, especially condenser. This interface only does standard digital audio modes, and does not support extra-high sample rates above 48K or bit rates greater than 16 bit. This should not be an issue for most users. The SC1 works well and is very attractively priced. An excellent value product. If you are a podcaster, live streamer, musician, or somebody who wants to connect a microphone and/or an instrument to your computer, the SC1 offers an affordable choice that will work well. ... show more

  • Bang for your bucks
Fifine is a great company and this product is also AMAZING. I recently got a usb mic with boom arm from fifine for around 50$ and have been pleasantly surprised with how well it works so I figured their audio interface would be perfect for my electric guitar set up. I recently picked up the habit and was looking for an ‘amp’, so after some research discovered you can use an audio interface and some software to ‘amplify’ sounds thru pc speakers. Works well, usb cable powers and is input cable to pc, no other wires needed to connect it to your device (obviously speaker cables if you wish to connect to speaker and xlr for mic, 1/4 cable to connect guitar and so on) after son initial trouble getting an input on the amp simulator I was using I figured out the program was faulty, I just swapped to a different amp sim and sounds were coming thru clean! TLDR: high quality product, very few cables involved, knobs and cable inputs are sturdy, easy to set up and high quality sound from your guitar or microphone ezpz. ... show more

  • Simple "just works" interface for microphone use
It's inexpensive and works, you likely are looking at this for the purpose of microphone use and it's good for that. The quality is acceptable for cost. Don't expect ultra clean high powered input and output. But it's good for basic XLR microphone input with a visual indicator to see if your signal is clean or has distortion or is clipping which is great when you're using this with minimal software monitoring for a more simple setup akin to analog (but with USB and software handling). The monitor works fine and will power low impedance headphones to listening level, but it will not drive higher impedance headphones (do not bother with anything over 32ohm on the monitor port). Great way to take an XLR microphone and give it a USB interface. ... show more

  • A really good mic to usb adapter
I had a set of wireless PA mics that I was trying to adapt for use in Zoom meetings. The big challenge was getting the mics connected to the Zoom PC. I decided to give the FIFINE PC Audio Mixer a try. Totally plug and play! Plugged the mixer into the USB port (the mixer is USB powered). Plugged the wireless mic console into the mixer using a 1/4 inch TRS cable, did some sound level adjustments and was all set. No drivers are needed and the FIFINE PC Audio Mixer shows up as a mic choice in Zoom. If you need to adapt PA mics to a USB connection, this is a simple and easy solution. ... show more

  • Stop Working
I had to return after 2 weeks after a late night gaming session with some loud rages made this interface go to sleep forever. Feels cheap, sounds cheap, is cheap. I usually recommend Fifine products but this one is a no go.

  • Best budget interface for begginers.
If you are a fairly new beginner or a Recording vet, this interface is the best value for the money, it is only 16 bit and a plastic body, but neither of those are deal breakers. For my money this is an amazing product that putsout great sounds

  • Conflicting
I still can’t decide whether I like or dislike this thing, there are like 2 main things that stick out. 1 this was obviously made for singers and songwriters, not for streaming. 2 the interface is very basic almost to the point of being weird.

  • Didn't work with my Roland drumkit
I needed an audio interface solution to allow me to pass my drumkit through to my computer along with a mic so I could have my Zoom lessons. I cheaped out and went with this option. I tried it for one session, and I could barely hear my drums, and there was a lot of distortion, especially with the kick drum. We played with the gain and it didn't help. I had to turn it way down not to distort the sound. I have a Roland v504 for reference. It might work for other applications or other instruments but for me, it wasn't a fit. I ended up buying the Forcusite Solo, and this is the one I use, and it's been perfect. I'm able to hear my drums and there isn't any distortion (without having to turn the gain way down). If you have e-drums and wondering if this might work for you, I would spend the extra $50 and get a Focusrite. ... show more
