  • I like this rig
I was looking for a rig that can accommodate my 7.5 inch wide porro prism binoculars. Turns out they ALMOST fit in this bag - in normal position they won't fit, so I'm left with choice of either folding them which gives just enough space to fit but it means i have to readjust them to my eyes every time I take em out, or to just slide binos in sideways which is what I ended up doing and now got used to it. Speaking of quality - they seem made well but I don't have enough time in the field with this rig to judge how they will hold up in the long term. Last thing - if you were doing some research on Amazon and it seems to you that this rig looks just like the $30 more expensive rig from better known company..... and now you are wondering now if can save $30 by going with those - well this is the same dilemma I had, decided to try those and I think they are the same so I'm not disappointed. ... show more

  • Buyer Beware - Overpriced, Cheap Quality
I purchased this bino harness for my mule deer hunt in the West Texas/Eastern New Mexico area. The camouflage pattern ans color scheme on this harness worked great for that area. However, my first day using the harness (with very light wear/usage) there was already a hole tore through both gromets on the elastic closure, rendering the entire closure useless. The material is thin, prone to tears/rips, and couldnt even last a week of light use. I also wish the harness itself had more adjustability. I’m a 5’7’’ woman and the rigging is clearly made for a large man (perhaps my fault for not looking much into the dimensions). The interior is the only part of this harness that was adequate—the material is cheap but soft and gave plenty of protection to my gear. I am very disappointed that I spent this much money and barely got any use out of it. ... show more

  • Nice Case and Harness
After flipping around some buckles that had been put backwards on the straps (I've done this myself more times than I'd like to admit) and checking that all the zippers worked and that everything was sewn well, I loaded up my Bushnell waterproof 8x42 porro prism binoculars, knowing that I'd have to put them in sideways. The case is actually for a 10x42 roof prism set I have in for service, but I wanted to make sure I had everything hooked up correctly while I wait for them to return. I adjusted all the straps to fit me, and I am a big guy and was pleasantly surprised that everything adjusted easily with room to spare. With the porro set mounted in the case just to see how the weight would be handled, I was impressed how comfortable it was. The ultimate ratings for durability and value in the long term will have to wait of course, yet the case seems to be well made. Ther are two other manufacturers that produce large size cases with harnesses. They are about $30 more than this case and slightly larger. I'll see how this one holds up, but for the price, I couldn't help but give it a try. ... show more

  • Large to size. Vorthecj 10x50 fit very loose
I’ve had this rig now three years. It’s been through two elk hunts, texas hog hunt. Just got back from South Africa hunt. All hunts were spot stalk, I have vortex 10x50 inside. Has plenty storage for extras! Has held up very well and protected my binos. My only complaint is it runs very large for bino case, had to put decent amount foam in bottom of case, and the strap Adjustments are very long. I have them all pulled tight and rig hangs loose in body. I’m 5’11’ 220lb. So while crawling stalking rig slids around front body. So constantly having to move to center chest. Gonna have to modify with needle and thread. Overall great case. ... show more

  • Fits my Nikons
Looked for ever for a harness that would fit my 10x40 Nikon binoculars. The main compartment fits the binocs snugly, but works better if I put them in sideways which makes it easier to remove them in the field. Even have space for a flask of whisky in the main compartment. The other pockets hold my rangefinder and flashlights. Took it late season hunting and hiking and performed well for 2 days. No complaints. It is a large chest pack so keep that in mind, might bulge out too much for archery hunters - I dont archery hunt because I like to kill animals not wound them. ... show more

  • Cheaply made - spend the $$$ to protect your binoculars
On 2nd hunt, the grommet popped out of latch holding binocular case shut. You can’t justify paying money for something made cheaply to protect something valuable. Learned my lesson.

  • Poor quality fabric
The design is great but the exterior fabric is of poor quality. I used it for one turkey season in FL and it’s all but completely fallen apart. For the price point I expected at least a full year out of it. I should have purchased the same style harness from Vortex Optics since it’s only about $30 more. Tried to save a little money only to cost much more in the end, lesson learned. ... show more

  • Great optics pack!
This bag gave me exactly what I needed. Shipping was quick and arrived without any issues. Since I got it, I've used it on several hunts and scouting trips. Its extremely durable. I didn't have any issues with the grommets or the elastic band. The tension of the elastic is also adjustable which was really nice. Also, its comfortable and easy to adjust, I like having a bag that I can modify quickly if I need to add on cold weather gear. Their was a lot of thought given to the function and layout of this bag. Regarding internal dimensions, I've swapped in a few different sets of binos and rangefinders for different hunts and they all fit just fine. The sizes are exactly as described by the company and the answers can be found on their product page. If you know your binocular dimensions and compare them to the dimensions on the product page, you won't go wrong with this bag. Great Product! ... show more
