Description

Simplify the drywall sanding experience with the Planex easy Drywall Sander. This single-piece machine features easy plug-in and go design this is both easy to set up and easy to use. Intuitive controls combine with exceptional balance and low weight to make the task of drywall sanding easier than ever. Enjoy greater freedom-of-movement and longevity with the direct-drive EC TEC brushless motor with its motor-over-pad design and flexible head joint. There are no flexible drive cables and no carbon brushes on the motor which need replaced. Removable top section allows for up-close sanding to abutting surfaces such as inside edges. Reduce jobsite clean-up while working in a cleaner environment thanks to the integrated dust extraction design that captures dust at the surface (when attached to an appropriate dust extractor). Fully compatible with existing Planex abrasives.

I’ve use the cheap $180 drywall sanders for years now. I’ve decided to try something better. So last year I tried the porter cable which is all right. I bought flex drywall sander did not like it sanded funny returned it to acme. Then I decided I was going to buy festool. I have their hand sanders in my shop absolutely love the best. thought I’d try this and I was right. lightweight powerful, not a lot of speed but it there’s power behind it, it doesn’t die down sands well, doesn’t jump or vibrate terribly, sucks up 85 90% of the dust, are use a 50 foot hose going to a dust deputy. Which is a must it’s awesome saves your vacuum bags. The number one thing is I like how they offered a 5 month pay plan for free ... show more

Best freaking tool in the world buy it ,it saved my life I’m 62 it works great , I just couldn’t pay $200 for the hose so I bought one from Home Depot that works with universal fittings for 39 instead of 198 sorry fest tool that’s a little over the board but the tool is awesome awesome spend the money one time you’ll be happy I hooked it up to my big shop vac works great no dust 0 ,love it. I also bought 9 inch pads from Amazon different grit much cheaper than Festool‘s sorry festtool that’s kind of pricey. ... show more

This tool with the CT 36 AC makes drywall sanding so much easier, the tool takes the work out of the sanding a hour of this tool is equal to a day with a pole sander, with less fatigue and no wore out shoulders.     • By Far The Best But Could Be Much Better

This is not my first power drywall sander. It is however the best I have used because it is light weight, the motor delivers power directly to the head and the articulation of the sander makes it easier to use. Getting an adapter to connect to the dust extraction port on the tool is damn near impossible! Absolutely infuriating as I have tried everything including 3rd party adapters and taping the crap out of them. The dust extraction is poor. I cannot explain why because I cannot figure it out. My Porter Cable drywall sander will suction onto a wall with noticable strength and remove most of the dust when in use. When I take the exact same shop vac, hose and set up and connect it to the Festool, it is as if there is no air movement at all. I have tried everything including calling tech support. The best I can come up with is the suction is distributed differently than the Porter Cable. Overall, good tool. ... show more
