UPDATE: A replacement showed up very quickly. Same packaging, but it was perfect. Very quiet motor. I forgot to look what setting it is on before turning it on. No splash. No water trickling sound, but it might be in low. (Mini update: turned switch on bottom, might have changed the water flow somewhat. However! I added a little stone or two to the top and now as the water runs around the stones I have a water fountain sound! Also, still no splash!) I planned on putting it on a table on the porch. Listing says indoor and outdoor many places. The directions clearly state indoor. It is only a two prong plug. Original review: The tail on the yellow bird was broken. It was shipped only in the privy manufacturer packaging. The box did not look harmed. Wondering if everything was just too tightly packed. The water reservoir was sitting directly on the top of the packaging on the bird. Any downward pressure probably broke it. It’s pretty. The yellow isn’t as bright but it almost looks more natural instead of lemon yellow. I liked it. Hopefully I’ll be able to plug the new one in and use it.

really was impressed by the weight of the fake rock nice and heavy , the water flows perfectly tier to tier with a natural stream trickle sound , i was not expecting the look to be that realistic but its a good looking scape .the pump has adjustable flow mine is on full blast and is picture perfect i add a piece of filter media in the last pool to keep the pump intake clean in my frog habitat

The media could not be loaded. It's pretty and it works good. I had a little trouble getting the lights to show through the hole at the top. But my husband fixed it. It doesn't make any motor sound but it doesn't have a water trickling sound either. I wanted that sound but if you get real close you can hear it a little. The ball stops rolling every now and then but I just start it up again. The lights do change colors I noticed it doesn't say that anywhere in the details. It came with a small bag of rocks that aren't that nice so I added my own rocks to make it look prettier. I wish I could see it better at night. I thought the lights would show up better but you can see in the picture I posted that it doesn't do that. Overall I think it's a nice water fountain. I just wish it had more of a trickling water sound. Make sure you add water to it every day because if you don't the motor will break. I had another fountain that broke because of that. It was fast shipping too. I would recommend it but I would say buy and add your own rocks to it. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the no trickling sound and because it was a little confusing putting it togther.

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS FOUNTAIN, IT'S QUIET, IT'S BEAUTIFULLY MADE, I LOVE THE ROLLING BALL AND LIGHTS, I PLACED IT IN MY BEDROOM BUT WILL MOVE IT TO EITHER MY FAMILY ROOM OR LIVING ROOM IT'S TO BEAUTIFUL TO BE HID IN A BEDROOM, THE PRICE WAS GOOD. ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE DIRECTIONS, IT REALLY DOESN'T TELL YOU HOW MUCH WATER TO ADD, JUST TO SUBMERGE THE PUMP IN WATER, AND WARNS YOU ABOUT LEAVING IT RUNNING TO LONG BUT NO TIME GIVEN, IS 2 HOURS TO LONG? I WILL BE GIFTING SOME LUCKY FAMILY MEMBERS/FRIENDS FOR BIRTHDAY OR CHRISTMAS.

I was really looking for something i could use on my deck. This is really made only to be used inside and is fairly loud. I didnt find it relaxing nor did it allow me to leave on the deck so I returned it. But someone keeping it inside might be pleased with it.
