  • Please Note: The drone will need to be recalibrated before take-off and after it has tipped on its side. If you do not calibrate before take-off and do not take off on a level surface, then the drone will fly diagonally after take-off and will not be controlled by the remote control, and will be 100% lost.

I'm a 70 something year old guy that has been flying model planes since grade school. I got into R/C helicopters, then quadcopters and drones after I retired. I enjoy flying them in my backyard. Currently I own more than forty, ranging in size from tiny ones that fit in your hand to really big ones that have propellers which measure more than 10 inches. It seems that pretty much all of them now have similar features and most of the new ones "fold up" for transport and storage. I wanted something different...unique, but with all the best features. I stumbled on the FERIETELF T6, liked its looks and features...and PRICE. I ordered it, charged the batteries and flew it. I was impressed with how stable it was, how easy it was to control, and how smooth the one-button take offs and landings were. It would literally rise up to about 5 foot and just sit there midair until I started to operate the controller. It’s been 3 weeks I am using it and it just work fantastic. The video I took while playing volleyball near beach is just amazing. It has capture all the movements very nicely. The range and battery is too enough. Very easy to assemble, it is lightweight but when it fly the drone really has good stability even near a beach with wind. It will take some time to operate but the manual is helpful , always keep it with you. Recommend to buy those who never purchased any drone before, this is the perfect, highly recommend to buy. Excellent picture quality with such a low price…. BuY it! ... show more

    • Durable and easy to handle
I bought this for my 15 year old grandson. It was the perfect size , easy to understand how to operate and not hard to handle. The camera quality was really impressive. My grandson took pictures from pretty high up and they were really clear. I don’t have pictures to show , being he lives in Kansas and at the time I didn’t think to keep any. He absolutely loved it and the battery live was pretty good as well. I would recommend this for a young adult or someone starting out. I would give this. 5 stars , Grandson was really happy and he’s hard to please.. to me that says a lot. Thank you. ... show more

I have to say, I am really disappointed. The UAV flies well and is easy to learn, but there is a good chance it will be missing the memory card slot. Because of the price and trouble taking this to UPS to return, I marked the rating to 1-star since most people would purchase this over a less expensive UAV just because of the camera. My husband and I have flown a lot of UAVs, everything from the cheapest to ones costing 10-grand or more for search and rescue. On top of this, we are both avid photographers and videographers - memory cards and technology are something we are very familiar with. The first UAV came and was missing the insert for the memory card - if you put a card in, it just falls into the void of circuit boards. So, we decided to return it for a replacement. Lo and behold, the same thing on the replacement. We have looked at all the material we can find to see if we are missing something, but it appears that both of these are defective. Note as well that the instructions just say to insert an SD card, but it doesn't give any indication as to which version or style, and there are many of these. A regular SD card for a camera is too large, a micro SD card fits the slot but then goes into the circuit cyber universe to float around, lost for all time (not really lost, it dumps right back out, but you get the idea). As for flying, this is a very easy UAV to maneuver and a lot of fun to fly. The return function is not so great (almost lost the UAV to a car going down the road with that feature) but everything else works well for the price. It certainly isn't a Mavic in functionality, however. I seriously wish we could have gotten a fully functional model as we were looking forward to playing around with the camera. All said, I would not recommend this model because of the chance of having it not include everything it advertises - buy at your own risk. This was my first drone and indoors. Its is remarkably sturdy as i have flown it into a lot of my walls. Once you get used to it its very easy and inutitive. I have. Boxer who is 2.5 years and she is infatuated with it so its great for ply time until she eventually catches it and eats it. When that happens i will definitely be buying another one - its so fun!!!!! ... show more
