Description

VIFLY Strobe is super bright that can be easily seen at night from 3 miles away. It weighs only 5.9g that almost no impact on your drone flying, most of other competitors are more than 10g. VIFLY Strobe is less than half the cost of the other strobe lights, you can attach one on the top to flash white as the anti-collision light, bundle two at the leg to flash green and red as the position light. VIFLY Strobe installs 5*3W Hi-intensity LEDs, three white LEDs, one red LED and one green LED. It can be easily seen at night from 3 miles away that meets the FAA night flying rules. Three LEDs to flash white light, one LED to flash red and one LED to flash green. White LEDs are the brightest that can be used as the anti-collision light, the red and green LED can work as indication light. I intentionally waited before posting because I’ve revised reviews in the past; this product has earned a stable, confident assessment. This strobe light is a worthwhile purchase for any drone pilot who needs reliable visibility or FAA‑compliant lighting. With the FAA increasing enforcement efforts, having a bright, dependable strobe is no longer optional — it’s part of responsible flight operations. The LED output is exceptionally strong, to the point that direct viewing can cause eye discomfort. In practical use, the visibility is excellent and easily meets the needs of recreational and Part 107 pilots flying in mixed environments. The mounting system uses a mushroom‑style plastic fastener rather than traditional Velcro. It locks securely, stays low‑profile, and is nearly invisible when the strobe isn’t attached. It adds minimal weight and does not interfere with flight performance. I primarily use the white strobe mode. Living near an international airport and within helicopter flight paths, white provides the best visibility at altitude. While green is commonly recommended, white has proven more effective in my specific airspace. Charging is quick, but I strongly recommend avoiding fast PD chargers. A slower 1A USB charge keeps the battery cooler and extends long‑term health. I also avoid storing it fully charged or fully depleted; topping it off shortly before flying has produced the best results. These drone strobe lights are impressively bright and significantly enhance visibility for my DJI Mini 3. The white anti-collision strobe on top is so intense that I need to be cautious when activating it to avoid temporary flash blindness. The red and green navigation strobes are easily visible from at least three-quarters of a mile at night, and I believe they could be seen from even farther, though I haven’t tested beyond this range as I’m still gaining experience with my sUAS. During daytime flights, these strobes help maintain visual line of sight (VLOS), reducing the risk of momentarily losing track of the drone—a common issue for many pilots. The battery life is solid when the lights are set to strobe mode, lasting significantly longer than when set to steady. However, the red strobe seems to drain the battery faster in steady mode, so I keep extra strobes on hand for longer flights. These lights work great. I bought them for drone use, and they are plenty bright enough to help meet FAA visibility guidelines for night flying. They also make the drone much easier to see during the day, which was a nice bonus. The brightness is the standout feature here. For something this small, they are impressively visible. That extra visibility makes it easier to keep track of the drone, especially when conditions are less than ideal or when the drone is farther out than usual. Overall, I have been happy with them. This light is super bright in the night sky. I've been using it for several months now and I was surprised when I realized that it's easier to spot and track my Mini 3 Pro drone at night than it is during the day. If you mount it on top (as you should per night flight regulations) you will be able to see your drone when it's not directly above you. I would suggest getting other, smaller and less intense lights to go on the undercarriage of your drone (I got the red and green Acrotor button-like mini lights for the underside and they work pretty well in most situations). One drawback is that the battery lasts for about 1.5 to two of my flying sessions on average and then has to be charged. The charging port is a bit finnicky and it works best with the provided cable, but I did get it to work with another cable I have a couple of times. I don't pay close attention to the charging time, but I feel like it's less than an hour or so from fully drained to full charge. Update: I was looking for a second small yet very bright light to put on the underside of my drone to better keep and eye on it in the dark (but also during the day and as the sun is going down) that wouldn't add much weight to my drone. After doing a lot of research, I couldn't find anything better, brighter, or lighter than this Vifly light. From my research, there's just no other light that is as bright at only 6 grams total weight. Now I use a Vifly light on top of my Mini 3 Pro that works wonders for night flights as a required anti-collision strobe light, plus I have a Vifly under my drone that helps me track it in the sky even when it's directly above me. I love that I can set the my underside light to either white, red, or green light (tip: there is a strobe mode where all three colors flash at the same time and I found that this mode is the most visible when the sun is still out to track my relatively small drone in the sky much better ). Bad part 1st, my only complaint is. The adhesive on the fuzzy side of the velcro was not sticky I had to use glue to make it stick to the strobe. Other then that the light is super bright I could see the strobe from 2,500 ft away at a altitude of 200 ft clearly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product and outstanding customer service I purchased the VIFLY Drone Strobe Light for my drone and have been very impressed with both the product and the company behind it. The strobe is bright, well-made, easy to install, and gives me extra confidence when flying, especially during night operations where visibility is important. I did have one unit start acting a little funny. I contacted the company, and after my return was confirmed, they immediately took care of it. I had a replacement arrive the very next day! A good product is important, but what really separates a great company is how they treat their customers when something goes wrong. VIFLY showed excellent customer service and earned my trust.     • Better than ARC for a fraction of the cost

Flown ARC lights on my drone almost since day one. The lights are used for every flight, any time of the day or night, so I need brightness good enough for daylight. ARC met that. But these lights exceed it in multiple ways. Vifly has a true winner in my opinion. So how is it better? First, cost. These are currently about a third the price of the comparable ARC product. But they outperform it with more LEDs, multiple color options, more brightness, and it uses USB C for charging! Yes! The ARC still uses MicroUSB and is nearly the only thing left in my life still using that boat anchor plug. Vifly gets it. USB-C is a major convenience that would still win even if Vifly wasn't cheaper and better, which it also is. I'm not sure how I did it, but my Vifly is currently flashing three white LEDs plus a red and green one all at the same time. This is exactly what I always wanted! Port and starboard indicators plus anti collision! This is the light I would make for myself if I had the skill. But Vifly already did it. And it's good. Cons: some people don't seem to like the 3M mounting tape supplied with the light and I agree. It's not enough. But I already use another 3M Extreme version of the same thing with all my drone lights and never had one issue. It is outstandingly strong and it's possible to suspend the entire drone off just a tiny patch of that stuff. I've also accidentally stuck the drone to a fixed object with that fastener and it took every bit of power the drone had to lift off. It was a real battle. Yet the lights pop on and off when needed with no effort. 3M Extreme is very highly recommended. If you are using anything else and the fasteners make you nervous, they should.
