The media could not be loaded. These shades are performing well for me. I like that it comes with a storage pouch, measuring tape, and Velcro. I live in a desert where we experience +115° heat. So I’ve been trying to come up with creative ways to beat the summer heat. But my HOA won’t allow reflective window coverings. And their rules make it impossible to find window film that fits their stringent criteria (not reflective and only specific color). Anyway I have professionally installed Venetian blinds that don’t do enough on their own for heat. So I added blackout curtains, which help. And I decided to add these shades over the blinds, under the curtains for additional heat blocking. I didn’t cut to size. I have added this shade to the hottest windows in my home. I attached the shade with binder clips from Walmart, because I didn’t think the Velcro would stick to my textured walls and I can’t let this reflective material be seen from outside due to HOA. My window heat would probably weaken the Velcro adhesive even if HOA wasn’t an issue. My video and photos show how it looks now. Although, I do have 1 window that only has blinds; I don’t have a 20ft ladder to install additional coverings. So that is where the light is coming from on my video. All this together has helped keep my home cooler and darker. And so far, my electric bill is lower than last year. My a/c doesn’t have to run as often. The true test will be once we hit +100° soon. High 90’s so far. I will update then. I plan to buy more of these shades for the rest of my windows. These were easy to install, and seems like a quality opaque material. The Velcro pieces don’t stick as good as I was hoping but when they do stick WOW it for sure is a dark room when using these. I work third shift so that’s why I got these. I also use them in my kids room bc the first sight of light whether it be at 4am or 6am they are up. With these they sleep in sometimes until 7am on the weekend. My kids also like these because they said they always are afraid of someone trying to look in their window and now no one can see in. I for sure recommend these! I have black out curtains as well but these help with those corner lighting that the blinds and curtains can’t keep blocked out. These will still keep that light out even if you don’t have black out curtains.

Great, lightweight, 100% light blocking. Some of the reviews are complaining that it's hard to take on and off. I believe this was not designed to be taken off and put back on on a daily basis. There are remote controlled rolling shutters that you can buy for that. Of course, I was also hoping for a cheap solution I can take on and off on a daily basis. What I did was I took the velcro and transparent self adhesive attachments and stuck them on either side of the film (for strength) and use the whole puncher to make a hole. Hi then installed three screws on top of the window frame and I am hanging this film off the screws. Works well. Quick and cheap.

Measure, cut, stick, and press together and your set. Great adhesion. These are huge - could do three bedroom windows with one package - great value for money. Almost a complete blackout with only stickers in the corners - the more you use the more they blackout. Best part is - you can barely see the stickers when you have the shade off - so it doesn’t wreck the appearance of your window. I won’t need more but I’ll be telling my other mom friends about them!

The product ended up working fine, but the measurements were off. We have large windows, so I measured ahead of time, to be sure they would fit, with enough room on the end to hang. When the shade arrived, it was several inches shorter than stated. I was able to cut the longer side and attach to the bottom with boxing tape, to get the length and width I needed. I use in my daughters nursery to help her get a bit more sleep. It blocks a good amount of light out, especially helpful during the summer, when it is light out well past her bedtime. It was easy to hang and it sturdy. I took off 2 stars, because I think if you order something that gives a certain length and width, it should be true to size.

We just moved into a rental with large east facing windows - half of which are clear with a shade, and half of which are frosted without a shade. This summer the rising sun lit up the room starting way too early. This curtain solved my problem. It is way more material than I needed, but I cut the shade to fit and velcro'd it to the wall. Now my roommates have done the same!!

Love these. With the sun staying up late my kids were having a hard time getting to sleep. One pack covered two huge 59” square windows for us. Not a peep at bedtime. The room was pleasantly nighttime at regularly scheduled bedtime. The only challenge is rolling them out of the way for the day. I use a chip clip. Much cheaper and more durable for rough kids than the redishade (which I also love and had in my room)
