I was REALLY curious how the vacuum suction part would actually work in real life, and it ended up being more helpful than I expected, especially for thinner fabrics that normally flop around while steaming. The suction helps hold the fabric flatter so you can steam one-handed without fighting the shirt constantly moving all over the place. It’s especially nice for collars, sleeves, buttons, and awkward little areas that normally make steaming annoying. The steam heats up fast too. Mine was ready in about half a minute, which makes it much more likely I’ll actually use it instead of staring at a giant ironing board and deciding wrinkles are part of my personality now. The LED display is also easy to understand and doesn’t feel overly complicated. I like that you can adjust both the steam and suction settings because not every fabric needs the same amount of force blasting at it. Delicate fabrics definitely benefit from lower settings. The water tank size works reasonably well for quick touch-ups and everyday clothing, although if you’re trying to steam an entire mountain of laundry at once, you’ll probably need refills. The vacuum function also unexpectedly helps a little with pet hair and lint while steaming, which was a nice bonus. It feels much more convenient than dragging out a traditional ironing board for quick wrinkles, especially for dresses, nicer shirts, or travel clothes. The build quality feels pretty decent overall too. It has a more modern feel than a lot of basic handheld steamers, and the controls are simple to figure out without needing a manual the size of a textbook. This definitely feels like one of those “why didn’t someone think of this sooner?” gadgets once you use it a few times.

This is one of the best items I have received on Amazon! In truth, I have had a couple of clothes steamers, and was never thrilled with the results. This steam gun changed my mind about them completely. It looks like the radar guns the police use/d when looking to raise some money for the local government. Between the weight and the fact that it actually has settings you can change (instead of plug in for on, and pull plug for off) I was immediately impressed. This has 2 steam settings and 2 Suction settings. "Suction settings?" I said to noone,"I didn't even know that was a thing with steamers". It is with the good clothes steamers, it gently sucks the clothing to the steam plate to pull out the wrinkles. This is only needed if you are steaming your clothes while they are hanging up. So, I took a cotton shirt from the dirty hamper and hung it up. The control panel is touch screen, and easy to understand and use. I waited for it to warm up and used max steam, low suction settings. Unlike my past experiences I didn't feel any heat from the steam, didn't see any either. I forged ahead anyway, and started running the steamer up and down my shirt. The wrinkles didn't exist when the steamer moved down my shirt. What a time saver, with one pass of the steamer I saw zero wrinkles, not "it looks better" but "looks like it was pressed" was my only thought, as I stood gaping at the shirt. I was so amazed I spent an hour or so going through and steaming most of my closet. Other things: the suction fan also seems to cool the steam coming through the unit and feels like a cool breeze ruffling my hair as it blows out the top. The unit shuts down when it runs out of water, and also turns completely off after 8 minutes sitting idle. The control panel is within your fingers reach, but not placed so you will accidentally push them. The only 'bad' thing is it uses a lot of H2O, and has a fairly small tank. This is a game changer for my "look" as I no longer have to buy low wrinkle fabrics. I think this is a fantastic item especially if you live in a small place or dorm room where an ironing board is inconvenient or out of the question. This is a great option if you are shopping for a steamer.

I really appreciate that this steamer has suction. It helps hold the fabric flatter while steaming. It works well for fast work on shirts, collars, seams, etc without having to need an ironing board. Its portable, and not too heavy even with a full tank. It heats up quickly, and the LED display is easy to view. The steam and suction features can be used together or separately. This is helpful for different fabrics. The water tank is fine for many garments, but would need to be refilled for a larger load of laundry. Overall, its very handy and easy for wrinkle removal. I don't bother with the iron anymore.

I was really excited to try this FEPP O Vacuum Steamer, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. I’ve used several regular garment steamers before, but this 2-in-1 vacuum steamer is on another level. The suction feature makes a huge difference. Instead of just blasting steam at the fabric, it gently pulls the material toward the steamer head while releasing steam. I had a handheld steamer for wrinkles but my sibling permanently borrowed it like 5 years ago so I e been meaning to get another. Now that I have this one I’m glad I had to get another! My previous one didn’t have a vacuum feature and at first I thought it may just be a gimmick but the vacuum really helps everything smooth out really quick! It heats up fast and is simple enough to use once you read the instructions. There was a time where everything started flashing and there wasn’t any info about it but we just unplugged it and plugged it back in and that seemed to reset it. It hasn’t happened again since. I used this on some thin graduation clothes first and it worked like a charm, it works on thicker stuff as well but takes longer and can get clothes wet. For thinner formal clothes it is super fast and dries quick because of the temperature. The cord is pretty long which allows you to maneuver well, and the tank holds a surprising amount of water. Overall super easy to use and works great. A nice tool to have if you have wrinkles but either can’t or don’t want to iron.
