This is a very sturdy bed, and easy to assemble. There are two reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars. The first is that the embedded design that is supposed to keep the mattress from sliding is too small. My mattress definitely slides, and has to be pushed back in place every morning. I also didn’t receive the reflective stickers for the middle post, although I’m certain they would not have done any good. The middle post on each side, although I’m sure provide extra strength and stability, are right along the edge of the bed. I can’t count the times I’ve hit my toes hard on one of them, and it’s usually in broad daylight. If they were pushed in a couple of in, my toes would have been spared. It normally occurs when making the bed, and I’m finally starting to consciously think about avoiding them. My only other comment is that with a slight design change, the bed would appear more high end. The decorative square pieces that appear to connect the poles have the weld line across the front. This isn’t shown in the pictures, but is obvious in person. If these weld lines were along the sides of each square, it would look SO MUCH better. Just my opinion. ... show more

Not going to lie, when I opened the box and saw the 500 pieces this bed comes in (exaggerating) I was thinking about how I was going to write my 1 star review and how mad I was. But as I started putting it together, it was really simple and the instructions were right on point. Now that it was put together in 30 mins or so, I've used it now for 3 months and it's BEAUTIFUL and looks AMAZING. It's simplistic but elegant, it does not make strange noises or bend at all. I'm incredibly happy with this bed frame. If your reading this review questioning things, just do it. I promise you won't regret it. ... show more

I decided to upgrade from a queen to a king. I will say the king takes longer to put together and because of the size I needed help putting together this king bed frame, but it all turned out.

Cheap! ( I know, you get what you pay for.) Straight out of the box and saw a piece that was broken (not an important part but still....grrr.) Later during assembly, the whole piece came off. Decided to keep it anyway. See the first picture. During assembly, I found a place that was scraped/worn off. See second picture. Still decided to keep it. Too much trouble to return. I think some manufacturers/sellers keep this in mind when they're sending stuff out. This frame must have been bought and returned because most of the parts were not labeled... It was a guess at what you get and hope it's the right part. Assembly instructions were typical of what you get for any piece of furniture anymore... Meaning not very clear. I'm female, 70 years old, and I have fibromyalgia and arthritis. It took me a little over three hours to put the frame together. ... show more
