There is no denying that the Fusionova Surfboard Cutting Board is beautiful. It is a nice chunk of half inch thick acacia wood shaped into a surfboard design. On the decorative side there is some resin at the base of about 3 and a 1/2 inches meant to resemble surf. That part is all hand painted and it mentions that it is food grade resin in the post, but it's not anywhere on the packing materials. I would have liked that, as this would make for a beautiful hostess gift and I would want them to be comfortable using this for food. Bear in mind that given the size of the board, you only have about 7 and a 1/2 inches wide and 10 and a 1/2 inches long to place any food product if you don't want it on the resin as well. You can flip the board over and do your cutting on the other side which is just plain wood. When you're done, there is a hole at the top if you prefer to hang the board and it is certainly lovely enough to do so.

This cutting board blew me away. It is a nice size and thickness and has a nice thick painted wave on it. This is to beautiful to cut anything on it, even though it would work great as a cutting board. I would be afraid of marking the surface with knife cuts. It has a hole in the top which makes it hangable for decoration or to use to serve sushi or other seafood on.

Stunning cutting board. This was so nice I decided to hang it up as decoration instead of using it. The packaging this came in was also top notch. It was set in a nice cut out foam. Would definitely recommend this one.
