This table wasn't the easiest to assemble but it is very sturdy and good quality for the affordable price. I am bummed because the inner piece that extends the table is damaged. Did not realize this until after assembling the table (which took a few hours). This of course is most likely due to delivery but wish the company had protected the table better to avoid the indented scratch. This was one of the best furniture assembling experiences I've had. There are only 3 kinds of bolts and they give you a ratchet with the only 2 bits you need. Looks good too and pretty sturdy, the only issues are that the middle piece grain is opposite of the rest of the table, but the espresso color hides it well. The other issue is that there were small points of damage, most negligible, but the middle piece had a 5 inch crack but I covered it up with a brown marker and it looks good now. **UPDATE** The seller was very responsive to my email regarding the damaged part and made the necessary moves to rectify the issue. I received my replacement part within the timeframe promised and now my table is GOOD AS NEW!! Everything fits nicely, the appropriate piece was replaced and the transaction went smoothly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s ALL AROUND!! I LOVE this set. One of the reasons this did not receive five stars is because the extension that accompanied the table was damaged. I have contacted the company, so hopefully, they will get back to me with a workable solution, i.e., replacing the extension portion only. Other than that, the table is excellent! It’s a breeze to put together. It’s very sturdy, has a good weight, and the pieces were well constructed. I love that it’s mixed material (wood and metal). It made assembly effortless. The other reason it did not get five stars is because it says it can fit 4-8 people. You can hold two people on each side to account for the four and three people on each side and one at either end to account for the eight. Unless these are eight children or eight people that do not have hips, eight adults are NOT fitting at this table. On the plus side, if you have just moved out on your own, are starting over, are a minimalist, or prefer not to have a big bulky table, this is perfect. ... show more

Prepare to sit very close to one another and for corners to scratch leg. Needs corner protectors for a toddler, even the benches. I thought it would be convenient to push the benches under the table and my little couldn’t climb. We’ll be can’t, but he does push the benches around.
