The Player Duo-Sonic HS is a modern guitar loaded with contemporary features. The hand-shaped body gives the guitar a more traditional body radius. A C-shaped neck offers a comfortable hold for fast and effortless bending. Twenty-two medium-jumbo frets allow access to four octaves for unlimited musical possibilities. Utilize the three-way pickup switch with Master Volume and Tone controls on your Duo-Sonic for a customizable sound experience. Enjoy authentic Fender sound with a Duo-Sonic single-coil neck pickup and a Duo-Sonic humbucking bridge pickup. The Player Duo-Sonic provides a modern twist on the 1956 original design, with a sound that's crisper and clearer than ever. From the Manufacturer A modernized version of a student-turned-classic instrument originally released in 1956, the Duo-Sonic HS model’s compact form belies its giant-sized sound. • Excellent Short Scale Guitar
Color: Ice Blue Metallic Style: Guitar Only
I bought this guitar for what was a screaming deal. In fact, I bought this 24 inch scale guitar because I have a brachial plexus injury involving my left arm and thought the shorter scale would help me fret. This was not the case, and I have sadly returned the guitar. But I would say that if you have smaller hands or simply not enough strength to play a full scale fender (25.5 inches) this is an excellent choice. The bridge humbucker has a coil split, which gives you all kinds of sound possibilities. The neck is well constructed with a slim C shape. And the frets were well finished with no sharp edges and only a few slightly high frets that didn't affect playability. I will miss this guitar. ... show more
