Like the guitar but had to have a friend tune it and adjust some things on it. Overall a good guitar to start out with. Upgraded to the Fender Mustang LT25 Guitar Amp. I wish I bought the guitar separate with the newer Fender Mustang LT25 Guitar Amp.

The set is awesome for absolute beginners who want to start learning/playing right away, as it comes with everything you need to start immediately and you will not spend a fortune on equipment. The amp has decent gain and overdrive while also retaining the classic stratocaster funk if you set the tone/pickups right, giving you access to a large spread of genres. The biggest problem I have with the guitar itself is that it arrived with extremely high action. There were also strings that had significantly higher action than others, meaning the action across the fretboard was not even, so the guitar needed a re-string basically straight out of the box. All in all, for the price, you can't really go wrong if you are just starting out. ... show more
