I bought the Fender CD-60-SCE. It came in good condition and on time. The action is great right out of the box. And the built in pickup sounds good so far. The built in tuner is also very accurate. About 16 months ago I bought the Fender CD-60S (which is the same thing but without the pickup) it is holding up very well and still sounds great. The only sign of wear is the finish on the neck has worn off a little from my fret hand but it is barely noticeable and not at all an issue. They also stay in tune well. overall REALLY RECOMMEND THESE GUITARS!!! ... show more

Love this guitar! I changed the strings to 10s, a minimal truss rod adjustment (which the neck responded to almost instantly), and it plays like butter. Sounds great acoustic or electric, built-in tuner is awesome. Later.. The neck on this guitar warped beyond repair. But, probably due to a dry house. ... show more

This is an incredible upgrade from my last guitar! I mean I really enjoyed playing my dreadnought Ephipone I had before this one, however with the cutaway and sprucetop this fender has, it has even a more wonderful sound! And the option to be able to plug in also makes it that much more enjoyable!

Sounds pretty good for a less expensive guitar. It has decent electronics too. BUT the strings were too high off the frets to play it comfortably. I happen to be a long time guitar player and know how to adjust this problem. I tightened the truss rod which helped some but I also had to sand the bottom of the bridge to get it comfortable to play. So if you buy this guitar plan on spending an additional $100 to get it set up properly at a guitar shop. It does play and sound very well after the adjustments. ... show more

I love this guitar. At first, I was going to return it because it looked damaged on the pick board. That was just a VERY thin plastic. The guitar is beautiful and sounds and plays beautifully for its price point.

The strings weren’t great so just buy some at the same time. I haven’t plugged it in to an amp but I’ve been playing for 15 years and it sounds good.
