Make sure you are careful when applying this. The nozzle is closed when you get it and you will have to pierce or cut it open. Be mindful of how you do it because it comes out very fast. Works great on my shredder.

I had a very bad jam in my micro shredder and I thought it was a goner. I put the shredder oil in according to the directions, plus a bit extra to soak the jam. The next day I was able to remove the jammed paper easily and the shredder is back to working properly. ATTENTION: Make sure you unplug the shredder before using it, and leave it long enough to do the job. After I let it soak overnight I was able to tweeze out the bigger pieces of jammed paper and then I plugged in the shredder and put it in reverse and forward until all of the jam was out. ... show more

Definitely made the blades quieter and the bottle was much larger than I anticipated it being even if it doesn't take much a little goes a long way! This bottle should last you for quite some time but it definitely made a difference in the sound of the blades, made them work much smoother and much better, not to mention I love how quiet they operate after giving the paper shredder it's Joseph oil! I like this oil a lot for extending the life of my shredder the only thing is it recommends you apply it to the blades after every time you empty the shredder bin.
