It reflects sunlight pretty badly sometimes. I also can't get the climate control to work anymore. I used a CANbus box and it worked for a few weeks, then the air conditioning menu stopped popping up and it won't show any climate controls anymore. Other than that, the carplay is great and boots up right when I turn on my car. It's kinda slow to load anything including carplay and the audio lags a few seconds, but otherwise a pretty good head unit. (used in a '02 rx300)

The media could not be loaded. The manufacturer of the device is sprd. It has 2 major bugs: 1. All my contacts were deleted once I was syncing my phone with this device via bluetooth. Once I was checking my phone's contacts, I saw: "Deleted on Sprd - ums512_1h10_Natv". So, this device has deleted all my Google contacts. Thanks to Google, I was able to restore them thru trash bin via my phone. 2. I'm unable to play my paid content on youtube and Google play because I'm getting "drm.unimplemented error" (see video) because this device: 2.1. This device is not a legitimate GMS (Google Mobile Services) device; 2..2. This device is not AOSP (Android Open Source Project) device and manufacturer has not signed a license with Widevine (drm provider for Google); 3. Also I had problems with wires. It looks like power wire has defect and is working only when is placed in specific angle. I was requesting new wire set, and seller has not sent it. I would stay away.

Before I write about this product, let me say that I would give a 0 rating to an otherwise Customer-focused Amazon. I spent about 2 hours writing a detailed review on how the stock radio could be uninstalled, the wiring etc, so that it could help another customer. I had included youtube video links in there due to which Amazon rejected the review and asked me to resubmit. That entire effort and bullet-by-bullet listing for the new Android HU install went down the drain. They could have at least retained the review in my account to edit and resubmit but NO! It was gone! Maybe they need to take some of the brain supplements they sell on their site! Absolutely NO REGARD for customer's time and effort !!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About this Product- ----------------------- I had to return this seller's first unit as it had a bump on the metal and slight damage to the glass that was exposed as a result. The replacement was perfect. This unit is very similar to Binize's unit (2GB/32GB) in appearance, but the metal finish of this one on the sides is more elegant. The pin interfaces on the back could be improved, they have the tabs for pulling out the pins facing the body instead of the open sides. One cannot get a finger pressure on the tabs to remove the pins. I needed to use a small screwdriver to press the same on all the pins. To retro-fit the wiring from this unit to the old radio wiring, I ordered this from Amazon- TA02BCB Scosche Compatible with Select 1986-20 Toyota Vehicle Wire Harness. As a note of caution, the color-codes of the wiring shown by the seller on the Amazon site is not the same as the one received. The pink wire is for illumination not back/reverse trigger. Some other wires have different colors. but the tags in English help identify their purpose. The blue wire has a tag only in Chinese but its for the Antenna. The camera that came with the unit has only 4 lights, not as advertised by the seller in the picture. I tested that the camera works but did not use it. Instead I chose to splice the connections from the existing small display unit that sits near the top of the dash. The pin unit that the camera connects to into the Android HU also has a wiring for IR connection! The seller probably overlooked in marketing a compelling- selling feature!!! If one has a wireless backup camera, there will be no pain of running a long cable through the length of the minivan from the backup camera to the front. The Android HU sits out a bit from the dash. To retro-fit the back of the HU into the existing space I got this- 99-8229S Metra - Dash Kit for Select 2011-2014 Toyota Sienna - Silver. The Silver IMO is a misnomer, it is more grayish and blends in perfectly with the existing dash color. I did not use the brackets that came with the HU. Instead I drilled holes on the inner sides of the Metra Kit and placed the HU into it with the screws that came with it. Please see in picture number 7. Be sure to place the HU at the top level of the Metra or higher, because if it is placed lower within the Metra, then there will be a problem in putting back the weather panel later in the slots which be covered by the HU. Placing it so that the top of the Metra and HU are level ALSO insures that there are enough gaps at the top and the bottom for heat dissipation. The unit stays warm, but not at all hot. There are 3 USBs provided. One pair labeled as USB1 and USB2 and a singleton labeled as USB. USB1 did not connect with Android Auto, but USB2 and USB did. I tried a few different cables with the same result. So I used USB and USB2. I ordered this on Amazon- USB 3.0 Panel Flush Mount Extension Cable with Buckle, Dual USB Square for Car Truck Boat Motorcycle Dashboard (3.3ft/1m). See picture number 6. I replaced the AUX unit at the bottom with this dual USB. There is little gap at the top, but I will cover it later. The fit is snug and Android Auto works great. On a long drive I did not experience a single drop or any other issue. The apps are great for anybody going from stock radio to Android. For offline maps, one could use MAPS.ME, SYGIC or a few others out there. The speed shows in Km/h and the seller had no solution at the time. The suggestion was to use a different UI, they have a few in the unit, but I purchased AGAMA launcher after researching on the web. Very inexpensive launcher with a rich feel and the units can be changed from Metric to Imperial. I would highly recommend this Android HU !!

I'll make this short since the buyer Me-Here already left an excellent review that covered pretty much everything else and is also the review that convinced me to pull the trigger. I am really glad for that buyer's review because there aren't many for this head unit. So, I first purchased the Benize Double Din 10.1" 2GB memory/32GB storage model. I decided to return it because the bluetooth connection with my phone had a terrible delay. Not sure if it was my phone (Pixel Pro 6) but I doubt it. The second reason is that Android Auto (connected through USB) did not work properly with Spotify or Amazon Music. However, G maps did work. Many people have left great reviews for that product, so maybe it was just the unit I received with these issues. I could of overlooked the Android Auto issues but the bluetooth problem was a deal breaker. Crazy thing is the two units look almost exactly the same except this one has a metallic finish around the side of the screen. So, back I went on the hunt and searched through the tons and tons of Android Radios and found this little gem. At the time it was $15 less then the Benize I purchased even after deducting the discount that Benize was running. So +1! But that was just the beginning! The FelloStar model also has 8 cores vs 4 cores, Android 11 vs 10, a bit higher resolution 1280X720 vs 1024X600, Bluetooth 5.0 vs 4.0, 3GB of RAM vs 2GB, 50 watts/speaker vs 45 watts, and the crown joule it takes a SIM that works with T-Mobile!!! To be clear, I had ZERO hope that my extra tmobile line (I got a free line from Tmobile last year) would work. The reason for this is that I read several reviews on other Android radios, and maybe even on this unit but not sure, that no U.S. provider's sim card work. Also, I asked this question and the seller wasn't clear. They replied by asking my specific bands which I took to mean no. However, I can confirm it works with amazing down/up speeds. BTW, I am in Miami so your speed may vary. It also has wireless rear camera option, which the other reviewer mentioned and was not even listed in the description at the time I purchased it. So, if my math is correct that is +9! If there is one negative it's that I did not get the rear camera even though I did get it's video and power cables. I had already bought a much better rear camera so for me it was not an issue. Also, there seems to be conflicting information in the description saying in one place that it has 1080p resolution and 720p in another. I seriously doubt it has 1080p but even the Benize resolution of 1024X600 looked amazing, so I am not counting that as a negative. Finally, for those nitpickers out there, there is the .1" difference but I measured and they are the same size. So +8 final count as reasons to go with it vs the Benize unit. Sorry Benize but it's all true. I know I said I'd keep it short but it's your fault too because you kept reading.
