There are cheaper shears, but these are the sharpest, most durable, and most ergonomic ones I've ever used. I won't ever buy another brand after using Felco. I use these a lot in the yard, and they seem like they will last a long time.

I love all my Felcos !

If you regularly spend any amount of time pruning and/or appreciate quality tools, Felcos are the way to go ! The F13s are nice for a lot of pruning that's a little big for single hand shears but not big enough to justify loppers. F13s and a Silky Gomboy 210 saw with medium teeth will get most pruning jobs done with ease. A Bahco laplander saw can be a good budget choice for the weekend worrier or people who don't want to learn proper technique for using Japanese pull saws.
