Great quality tent. For the money I would have liked to also get the annex instead of all the small extras that come with it like the pillows and laptop station. The annex cost $349 which also seems a little pricey. One small issue is that I had to drill out one of the holes for the ladder mount a little bigger because they didn’t line up exactly. I also had to straighten the ladder bracket as it seemed to be slightly bent. No big deal, however. Installed on top of a GOBI rack for a 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner. Easy to install. Two guys, 2 hours. I’ll take it out next weekend and see how it sleeps. No need to spend $2000 for a similar tent. This one is just as good.

this rtt has the qualities of a much higher range rtt, i love it, mattress is great slept good with no adding to it, assemble nicely and packs good. running this on my jeep jlu.

The tent itself works great. The assembly was not so great. Comes with some not-so-good picture instructions that do not even align with what they try to tell you to do. Engineers clearly didn't put this thing together to check if their instructions worked. Some parts will not work together to mount on a standard expedition style truck rack. A standard round bar, ladder rack, like you see on a work truck would work. But who buy a tent like to mount on one of those racks. Luckily I know a bunch on ship fabricator who came over and helped me mound this directly to the rack. We didn't use any provided cross bars or other mounting hardware, other than a couple bolts. Set up and use of the tent are pretty good. One improvement for tent design would be rain flys. The cab side (depends on how you mount it) does not allow for the rain flys to be used. The little rods that they use will hit the cab, once again an engineer design flaw. Honestly they probably should have given this thing to some campers before just producing it.

Love this tent. This is our 2nd one. There was things missing that we got with the first one. But We would still buy another one. The pillows and extra suff promised in the advertisement we didn't get. The ladder is better than the last tent. They have covered the inside of the fabric with a rubber or silicone for extra water barrier. Nice... missing the rubber bunnies to pull the sides in when closing it. Kinda wish they had a better foam pad inside. I guess to keep the cost down. Off to camping for 6 months in our new rooftop tent watch chrismarylife youtube to see how it hold up camping full time

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This has been a great tent for us. Purchased it about 3 years ago and still holding up strong. Has been through some serious rain storms. It’s not 100% waterproof, but does a great job of keeping water out. Sometimes it comes through the sides a little and gets the mattress wet along the edges, but nothing serious. The biggest issue is that the vestibule roof will fill with water (the rain fly is 100% waterproof) between the frame supports. You’ll have to manually lift the roof occasionally to get the water to come off, if not the weight of the water will stress the supports. Overall though we’ve been very pleased.

My children and I were all in the tent and my husband was about to come up when the entire thing detached from the bed rack because of inferior quality nuts and bolts. My son has an injured nose, my daughter has a bonk on the head and I nearly lost my foot and had my knee broken. Don't waste your time or money on this.
