Great quality tent. For the money I would have liked to also get the annex instead of all the small extras that come with it like the pillows and laptop station. The annex cost $349 which also seems a little pricey. One small issue is that I had to drill out one of the holes for the ladder mount a little bigger because they didn’t line up exactly. I also had to straighten the ladder bracket as it seemed to be slightly bent. No big deal, however. Installed on top of a GOBI rack for a 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner. Easy to install. Two guys, 2 hours. I’ll take it out next weekend and see how it sleeps. No need to spend $2000 for a similar tent. This one is just as good. ... show more

This tent in comparison to those out there for this price is well worth it. i wanted a good tent with the overhang and option to have the annex extend past the ladder. This tent had some metal shavings in it from the holes the manufacturer drilled into it and didn't clean up. That was not a big deal to clean as it came with its own broom and dustpan. It had a pad for a computer and many accessories for storage. I have slept in it a few times and have had no need to improve the matress for sleeping. It is very comfortable as is. The company was on the ball with the shipping and purchase. I was contacted by phone by company and shipping company before getting the product. I was very happy with customer service. ... show more

this rtt has the qualities of a much higher range rtt, i love it, mattress is great slept good with no adding to it, assemble nicely and packs good. running this on my jeep jlu.

My children and I were all in the tent and my husband was about to come up when the entire thing detached from the bed rack because of inferior quality nuts and bolts. My son has an injured nose, my daughter has a bonk on the head and I nearly lost my foot and had my knee broken. Don't waste your time or money on this. ... show more

Had a difficult time installing, instructions were limited and had gaps. I had to make intuitive leaps and assumptions throughout the process... guess that's why they recommend 4 people to install (one of them might be smart enough to guess how to do it right).

The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because I’ve not yet deployed it. I’m writing only because of if the level of service I received is indicative of quality, I’m sure the tent will shine. When you order, it is stated you will have to schedule the delivery appointment. Having done that, this is where the troubles began. Overland’s freight carrier did their part, but the local transfer seriously dropped the ball. They never called to confirm delivery and when the time came and went, I made a slew of phone calls to no avail. In frustration, I called the manufacturer and that is when the sun began to shine. The rep I spoke with tracked my order, called all freight carriers concerned and confirmed that I had placed multiple unanswered/unattended calls after which I was put on a minimal hold. After waiting a short while, I was told that the carrier would call shortly to reschedule. While not optimum, the carrier’s error/fault cost me 2 days work-no small thing! Overland’s customer service also issued a partial refund of my purchase price even though the fault was not theirs! When is the last time you can remember a company doing something like this for you? I can’t. Greatly looking forward to using this to create a lot of good memories. ... show more
