Absolute junk. Threading is a nightmare and even if its perfect, the machine breaks the thread. Im using coats serger thread so it is NOT the thread. I recommend you buy another brand. I have owned for 2 months and I literally can't use it.

I had to watch the video more then 4 times, but got the hang of it. This is my first serger, I wish I had someone to help me.

The manual is extremely helpful when you first start out. You should practice all of the stitches with different types of scrap fabric so you know what each of the stitches look like for each of the setting. Write down what the settings were for each one. Once you have done that then you can refer back when you start a project happy serging. This machine is a work horse. I have muscular dystrophy and cant do a rolled hem on my regular sewing machine. So I set it up on my serger overlock machine. It does them so well. I sewed scrunchies also with the rolled hem settings. Practice, practice, practice.

it was very much simpler to use the threading hooks for the needles, and using it was very smooth and quieter than the juki serger, I love this machine and would continue to use it instead of trading it.
