The media could not be loaded. So far I’m digging this gimbal. The set up in my demo video was a bit heavy, but with a lighter prime lens I can balance a bit better and the motors don’t feel like they’re working so hard. The quick release plates are a little confusing at first, but make sense for being able to switch between horizontal and vertical video easily. The extra handle is very comfortable to use - when using more of a “flashlight” hold, having the extra handle helps to distribute weight well. The joystick and the front wheel are both very smooth and pleasant to use. All of the classic gimbal modes work just as you’d expect, with a convenient double press of the trigger to reset positioning and a triple press to switch to selfie mode (if that’s your kind of thing… no judgment 😉). The AI tracking works well, although keep in mind that the sensor on the gimbal won’t be in exact alignment with your lens, so I’d recommend shooting with a wider lens and expecting to crop in a little bit to get proper framing.

When shooting with this stabilizer, it is indeed much more stable and produces great results. There are many options to switch between, which is really convenient and has improved my photography skills. It's especially useful for taking photos and videos. The battery is very durable, and there are many features to explore. Overall, the shopping experience is excellent."

I am using this gimbal with my smaller DSLR and point and shoot cameras. At first I tried to use it with my Panasonic LUMIX GH5, but that camera proved to be slightly too wide for the gimbal. I just couldn’t get it to balance (minus 1 star for that). I also own the big big brother of this gimbal which worked flawlessly with the GH5. So I proceeded to mount my Sony Alpha 6400, which balanced quite well with this gimbal. This goes without saying that the phone (Samsung S20) balanced perfectly as well. While the instructions in the manual wasn’t hard to follow, I find that downloading the app and using the app to perform the balancing steps to be much easier. The app uses the gimbal’s built-in accelerometer to let you know how many degrees you need to slide the brackets in order to balance. This is all done in real time with quick response. All in all, it took me under five minutes to adjust all four points of balance. After completing all of the setup within the app, the gimbal operates flawlessly. The motors are extremely quiet and does not make a sound when turning. The joystick controls the gimbal precisely. I really like the AI tracking. My camera was able to keep up with my movements the entire time. Overall, if you have a smaller camera or phone, this gimbal is rich in features and would hard to beat. The payload is up to 2.65LB. Comes with a ton of coiled cables. The app is surprisingly easy to use.

I have liked the scorp mini-2 gimbal so far. The initial set up was a bit of a challenge for me. However, after installing and connecting with the app, it became a lot easier. I am an amateur photographer and this is my second gimbal. It is slightly heavy but provides good stabilization and feels quite stable. The caveat is I did not like it as much with my gopro 11 as I felt there was a little bit of an issue in terms of balance and stabilization but I like it much better with my sony Alpha a 6100 and cellphone in terms of range of motions and stability. I will have to go back and try the gopro again but I mostly use my cellphone for regular photography and sony a6100 for more serious attempts so it did not bother me. Battery life is quite as expected. So far this has been a reliable gimbal as far as my usage are concerned.

First of all the language on the small screen is Chinese/Japanese not sure, for sure is not English and there's no way that I saw to change it even on the app which is another worthles thing. Once it connects with the phone, it asks you to update the stacker firmware you start to update and the stabilizer disconnects from the phone and won't let you reconnect therefore rendering the update impossible or the gimbal to use due to the language barrier as well, the case that it comes in is just cardboard it's packed neatly but not plastic as the videos from reviewers claim. Shipping took forever even with Amazon prime shipping a total of a week due to delays from shipper and UPS throw the Christmas holiday in between and that made it an extra day. Ordered on the 18th of December and finally got it on the 26th and I couldn't even go pick it up at the distribution center because of the shipper Utterly disappointed, looks good, yet it doesn't work and there's no technical support either.

We have a few of these now and just gave another one as a gift. It went over absolutely fantastic! Everything about this gimbal just works! The handle, the usage, even the ai tracking is great! If you are looking for a gift for that person that thinks they have eveyrthing, this is ideal. Our cousin thought he loved his other gimbal, and now wonders why he didnt know about this sooner.
