This install was fairly easy. Instruction's were not explained well in some area's. 1 is you're not sure which end goes to the cab front. 2: Not explained well & shown how & where to place the rubber strip in the front area to stick to. Also how to strap down the folded covers to the cab area & lock the straps into "what"? Some videos helped but no video's on installing this to the Toyota Tundra CrewMax TRD 4wd short bed. Overall its a good fit & install took aprox 2hrs. Addon to this is-- I did figure out how to snap the tie-down. There are 2 rubber plugs in the tie-down you have to remove then you can snap the strap's into it. ... show more

Install was easy. Took about 30 minutes. Most of that was double-checking the alignment and figuring out the hardware. We have a lot of rain over the past couple of days. No water in the bed. Mileage has not varied. New truck so hard to tell. Folding the cover back is super easy. Takes no time to fold back and place larger items. I have not had to remove the cover entirely yet. The truck has a power tailgate. It no longer opens all the way from the button or the remote. The cover stops it. For me, this is acceptable for the other features. ... show more

It just came missing all instructions and what should be a box of clamps and the tool shown on ad. Totally useless until I get the needed items. It appears to be a nice top, but will update this review if I get the parts, or a refund. Just got the missing parts after 2 weeks. Went together well and looks good. The parts that fit into the rail are different longer length than shown in the directions for the Toyotas. They came in Box #TAY82096+. They would be easier to use on my 2023 Tundra 1784 if they were the shorter hook like shown in the instructions. I have to turn the clamp near the end of the thread to work.
