I bought this to keep at my friends condo in Phoenix as her air conditioner in the condo is sub par and when it’s 105 degrees in March. We had this set up quickly after it was delivered and within an hour her 800 sq ft living room was comfortable and cooled. It is extremely quiet and the hose has many different connection options and found that it was far more effective than her current installed unit. I did put a towel down on the concrete (redoing flooring currently) just so it didn’t saturate our working area but didn’t notice it getting the towel wet or any leaking. I would recommend to others in need of an air conditioned small space!

I got this portable AC to assist our central unit in cooling our upstairs down during the summer. Downstairs stays cool but the upper portion (3 bed/1bath) was several degrees warmer. It does just that, in fact now the upstairs is cooler than downstairs. I choose the portable option as I do not like the look of a window unit. Even though the hose does go in the window, it's only open 4-5 inches. I did find that the spacer portion that covers the open windows area was a couple inches too short for my window without the extension. When I tried to use the extension it was too long for my window. I blame the older windows in my home for this as I'm certain they are not standard size. I was a bit worried to see how much my electricity bill would increase while using this AC however it was only $40 a month increase with my husband keeping the AC on 24/7. He like it much colder and sets the temp on 65° so it's running a lot even though it will turn off and back on as the room temp adjusts. Currently this is set up in our bedroom and as long as the door is open it will cool the entire upstairs down (approx 800sq ft) and keep it cooler than the central AC keeps the downstairs. I have enjoyed the humidity control option as well especially on rainy days. I've not had to drain any water as of yet but will wash the filters this week since I've had it running for 2 months now. I highly recommend this item if you struggle with keeping portions of your home cooled or if you just don't like the window unit look. From outside you really dont notice the window open nor the hose placement unless your paying close attention, so it's a much better option esthetically. I will also add that its not very loud and cannot be heard from outdoor at all. The wheels make moving it very easy even on carpet.

It will stop if it gets to cold so it doesn't change to a fan while it defrost it just cuts off. The tube that goes for the unit to the window falls out repeatedly driving me insane lol. It's easy to set up tho. It's a bit loud when on high. It's not movable without the tube cuz it blows hot if it's not attached. The buttons are located on top of it so if you have a cat or a kid expect it to be changed and there's not a way to lock the buttons or anything to cover that part of the unit. It works like a dream once set up and not touched tho. I'd say pair with another fan across the room and it's a dream so the air continues to circulate.

This Portable Air Conditioner is nice for staying cool in the warmer months, the cooling performance is outstanding. It quickly cools my 350 sq.ft room in about 6 minutes, which is exactly what I need for those hot summer days. The wide angle airflow and impressive 14-ft reach ensure that the air is distributed evenly across the room. Whether I’m working in the office, relaxing in the living room, or even in my bedroom, I always feel comfortable. It's also a perfect size for my small apartment, and I can move it from room to room easily, thanks to the four caster wheels and built-in handles adn the 3-in-1 functionality is another huge plus. I love that it not only cools the room but also has a dehumidifier mode that helps with the humidity. The dehumidifier is strong enough to absorb up to 52 pints of moisture a day, which has made a noticeable difference in the air quality And when I just want the fan going, I can switch to fan mode, which has two speeds. This versatility makes it ideal for year-round use, no matter the season.

Item came as described. I left the unit sitting up for about 48 hours before unboxing per the instructions (upright for 24 hours minimum before use). Once unboxed & plugged in to my dismay the unit does not blow cold air whatsoever on the cooling setting, but also when I went to turn the unit off it made an odd hissing sound then filled the bedroom with a terrible smelling odor like freon. I had bought this unit to cool a small upstairs bedroom to replace a previous unit, and instead of doing anything that it was marketed to do it did none of it. I am left throughly disappointed & nauseous from the gaseous odor that it filled the room with when turned off. No one should buy this product.
