I purchased this airconditioner over the 4th of July weekend for my mother when I went to go visit her in the Midwest. She has a 2 story home with a loft looking over the down stairs open floor plan living room, kitchen, and dinning room area. Last year her central air and heat went out and due to budget she is not in a hurry to purchase a new system yet. However with me in town visiting I was not able to take all the heat on the lower level of the house so I purchase this. This 14000 btu say it's good for 750sq feet and it is and then some. The unit was able to cool down the lower level of the home and the open upstairs loft with ease. The down stairs area along with the loft alone is a little over 1000sq. feet. I originally had set the temperature to 72 and it was very cold in the all brick home. I had to raise the temp to 75 to 77 due to it was doing the job very well. My mother even ask to raise it a bit due to it was comfortably cold. It will shut off once it reach the desired set temperature which is great. I like also that it is wifi app controlable as well. The unit was easy to put the vent together and all the necessary pieces were all there and easy to install to the window. This model do have the humidifier feature and that's great! One less appliance needed in the home to run and in my mother's home she needs that feature as well especially in the winter when the fire place will be used to keep good moisture in the home. I think the unit is made very well. It came package really well and not to mention it came a day earlier by FedEx so the 3rd party merchant ship it the day of ordering. Order placed on Friday afternoon it arrived Sunday morning. I like to thank the merchant for the fast shipping of the product. Also one more thing that came with the unit which is not mentioned in the details of what's included is a nice padded white cover to place over the unit when not in use or for storing. It's not a cheap cloth it's a decent quality covering. I hope it last I will keep my fellow Prime shoppers posted if something changes. Mom is happy that she is able to now get downstairs in the open with a airconditioner keeping the lower level cool and can hold off a little longer before the big purchase of the downstairs AC and heat unit that went out.

My central air went out in the middle of a heat wave, and while I waiting for the unit to be replaced, I purchase this unit help keep our living and dining room cool. This is an amazing little machine. Made the room comfortable even during the hottest days. I used it for about a week until my central ac was replaced, but definitely happy to have this unit as back up. My son may use it when he moves back up to his apartment when he goes to school, since his apartment has no AC. Also, I had an issue with the remote control (embarrassed to say it was user error, and I figured it out). I sent an email to customer service and they responded promptly ask how they could help. I let them know there wasn't an issue and they said that is great, but please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you run into any other issues. This unit ran all day everyday for 7 days. We gave it a break between 11pm and 7am since the house was cooler then and we were not in the living room. The unit ran flawlessly. Truly a great ac unit for the money.

I bought the 10,000 BTU unit for my camper in Florida. It is wonderful. I Bought an 8,000 BTU unit for my house in Maine. Its is wonderful also. Good cooling , strong fan. quiet. Very quick install. All parts are included. The remote is ideal. I am very happy with my AC unit its. Good product.

This thing is dangerous. But first, the other problems. Unboxing was unnecessarily difficult. The plastic tie-down straps were completely covered with packing tape, making them frustrating to remove. The instructions then tell you to lift the box upward off the shipping base. The problem is that the power cord extends into the tightly fitted upper foam packaging, so the cord catches on the foam as you lift the box. Following the instructions resulted in the contents of the foam accessory compartment spilling out. That was annoying. The real problem started when I turned the unit on. On the very first startup, I was greeted by an extremely loud hammering sound accompanied by the loud sound of plastic grinding. It sounded like something inside the unit was violently striking the housing. I immediately pressed the power button to shut it down. The power button did nothing. I ultimately had to press the manual reset/test protection button on the power cord to cut power to the unit. I checked the manual and inspected the unit to make sure I hadn't missed any shipping material or foam that needed to be removed. I couldn't find anything that would explain the behavior. I tried it a second time. This time it started and ran quietly. After watching it for several minutes, I convinced myself that the first startup might have been a fluke. I left the room for a while. When I returned, the entire room had lost power because the household circuit breaker had tripped. This was particularly concerning because the AC was essentially the only significant load on that circuit. The only other things plugged in were some LED lights and an unused wireless charging puck. The house was built in the mid-2000s and has a modern breaker panel with separate room circuits. I inspected the AC again and noticed several pieces of blue plastic trapped inside the exhaust opening. They appeared to closely match the blue fins on the circular fan visible inside the same compartment. At that point, I suspected that pieces of the fan may have broken loose. I carefully removed the already-loose pieces of plastic with tweezers and tried the unit one final time. Immediately, the violent loud hammering and grinding sounds returned. More pieces of blue plastic actually shot out of the exhaust. At the same time, the lights in the room began flickering. Once again, I pressed the unit's power button to shut it down. Once again, the power button did nothing. I had to manually cut power using the protection switch on the power cord. That's where I stopped. A brand-new air conditioner should not make violent hammering and grinding noises, eject pieces of its internal fan, cause the lights on the circuit to flicker, trip the household circuit breaker, and then refuse to shut off when its power button is pressed. Maybe I received a defective unit. I can only describe the one I received. But based on my experience, I will not power this unit on again. Nope. I'm done. See picture of the damaged fan inside the unit.

This unit works awesome for cooling down a room fast and hard. It blows extremely well and cools extremely fast. It definitely can overpower a small room and make it frigid very quickly. I don't love the nonstandard 6 inch diameter hose size because it's really massive and a bit less flexible. That's the hose that goes to the window panel for air exchange. The window panel that comes with this is designed for that 6 inch diameter hose, no problem there. However maybe that large air exchange hose is part of the reason it's such a great workhorse. It was super easy to set up in a window and it is super portable as long as you can set it at hose length from a standard window (n any room that you need).. For those of you unfamiliar with air conditioning units like I was, It's not something you can just drag into a room and plug in. It needs to be connected to a window for both a little water drainage tube and for a big 6 inch diameter air exchange hose. The water drainage tube could be put into a basin or something if you had to, and you could just manually drain it. We routed ours outside. The unit has a low And a high setting. Both are super powerful. When you press sleep all it does is dim the color of the digital temperature read out. It is not slow the fan speed further nor make the unit quieter. We had to return this item because there is no way to sleep through the noise this air conditioner makes, even on low speed. Definitely much too loud for nighttime. So perfect during the day if you don't mind the noise, but I don't think anybody could sleep through the noise of this running at night on the low setting. It says whisper quiet somewhere but I found that definitely not to be the case. We needed one for during the day and also during the night and this simply was too loud for regularly running it during the day, and without question, too loud for running at night. It is awesome for intermittent fast room cool offs/intermittent as needed use. I ONLY wish there was a low output settig, that just blew gently to maintain the temp, and that same low gentle cooling available for overnight or constant use. This is robust and a well made unit! Great pricepoint! No defects. Customer service was excellent and we are so far we are not having any hassle at all with the return process. It was approved and the label provided.

The noise level is about the same as one of the portable fans you put in your window. The remote control is easy to understand. my cooling preference. I'd like to be a run about 72 in my room. And it fits perfectly right next to my desk. It is way too easy to set up. I didn't even need to look at the instructions, but it probably would've been a good idea too. I bought it about I think three months ago and I've had no problems with this at all. It cools my room down when I need it the climate control that turns on when it gets too hot when I don't want it to go past the heat level is perfect and it turns off when it goes below I really missed having a digital one.

Works great in small rooms. I use it in a mid size bedroom where the ac isn’t good. This keeps the room nice and cold. Easy to install. Quite heavy so get someone strong to carry it up stairs

I’m kinda disappointed with this air conditioner. Not necessarily about its cooling capability but the horrible buzzing sound it makes. I’ve read other peoples reviews about it being quiet, however mine is the opposite of that. Another thing I noticed is that behind the unit, it was very warm. I couldn’t tell if there was heat escaping the ends of the hose or somewhere else. Also the hose is cheap quality. Maybe im going to replace this unit. Edit: April 24 2026 Customer service was very helpful and replied in a timely manner. Unfortunately the unit didn’t meet my expectations and the one I had got louder after 2-3 days of use. Maybe it was defective. I was offered a replacement but I declined. Again customer service was very helpful
