Great bike stand, can’t say enough good things about it. I have 6 of these stands, 2 e-bike stands, and 4 of the 2.0 stands. They hold any bike securely; e-mtb, road, gravel, mtb, tri-bike, fat bike. I keep my most of my bikes in my “bike room” in my house and these stands do a great job of making the transition between storage and use very convenient and they made the room look more organized like a showroom. By far the best stand out there. Easy to assemble. It's compact and easy to move around, elegant, holds bikes perfectly (I use it for both my gravel and my MTB, very different tire sizes and weights, and it works like a charm for both). I own two other floor-based bicycle stands in addition to this one. One is not infinitely adjustable, and is raised such that the bicycle ends up resting its weight against the spokes of the wheel. Long-term, I'd imagine that would cause some issues. The other grips the tire, rather than the wheel, but loosens over time such that the bicycle leans, again putting strain on the wheel. Enter the Rakk 2.0. It's easy to assemble and smaller than I had thought it would be, but very sturdy. You gently push the bicycle against the arm, which causes the arm to lean back. The design is wonderful, as it keeps the wheel upright and grips the tire at the bottom and upper region, further ensuring that you're not putting torque forces against the wheel. I don't have a need to fold the arm and stow the unit, but it's nice that it easily compacts down when not in use. It's not the cheapest of the units you're probably considering, but it's a lot cheaper to buy this now rather than to buy a few other units before finally coming back to this one. I don't feel the need to look any further: I'll buy more of these to replace my other bicycle stands, and will stick with this model if I need more. ... show more

I didn't expect this to work as well as it does! I was nervous about one of my dogs knocking my bike over. This stand is so easy to use, just roll in and out. It grips the tire extremely well.
