First, this is a great product. Other than a small discrepancy in the Standard king instructions (part 5 and 8), its a fantastic product. Initially it smells a little like factory oil (diesel) but once you open it and lay out all the parts it disipates rather quickly. No residual smell. We have a 12" foam matteress that has grip on the bottom. The frame is very sturdy. No groans or squeeks when sitting or laying down. Ill check all the bolts in 3 months when I turn the mattress. Dry fit everything before tightening. There is a clear top and bottom frame. Enjoy!

I’m giving this a 4 star, because they gave me 4 wrong screwers tool, I don’t know why they include those. I had to go to auto store to get those 4 screwers with a little extra inches long. After researching for hours, looking for quality, price and measurements, came across this one. For me usually reviews means a great deal and this one doesn’t have much, but… Two nights on it, no noises, very sturdy and great improvement to my foam mattress. Was skeptical about the spaces in between but they seem to be well planned. If you prefer lower beds, 12” is perfect. Not too low, not too high. It is a perfect king size. There are no spaces left. Easy to follow instructions and fast to set up. Rounded corners make a difference! Even though my mattress doesn’t feel to be moving all around, anti slip strips could be added to the package. If anything changes, I will come back to update!

Sturdy iron-tube bed frame, needs to be assembled at home, nuts, bolts, and minimal tools included. Instructions were satisfactory. Assembly could have been easy, but all the pre-drilled holes did not line up perfectly, making it more difficult than it should have been. Normally this would take me about 10-15 minutes, but the top piece for the headboard attachment did not fit perfectly, so it took me about half an hour to get just this in place. The tolerances for the cross bars were also slightly off, but this did not affect assembly or function. The rest of the assembly was fast an easy. This included a very flimsy thin steel wrench that bent on the second nut and bolt, so I used my own tools. It has a standard Allen wrench too. If the tools are included, they should be reliable; if I had to rely on the included tools, I wouldn’t have been able to properly assemble this. I used a magnet to test all the parts of the frame, as well as nuts, bolts, and tools. All strongly attracted the magnet; they all are made mostly of iron/steel, but due to the tubular structure, it’s not very heavy. Once I had the frame put together, it looks nice; it’s a strong frame, and it functions well. For the listed price, if there were no problems, I feel the cost of this is slightly high, but reasonable.

I typically do not buy things that dont have reviews...AFTER WEEKS of searching for a platform bed that fit my current budget (this had a $40 off coupon attached) I caved on this one. I need one that wasn't too high but not too low. So I went in blind. IT WAS WORTH IT!!! Directions were simple. The main vertical support beams are already assembled and folded. The only things you have to assemble (well screw in) are the 4 leg corners and horizontal supports. The metal slats go into The support grooves. If I wasn't distracted watching netflix it would have taken 10 minutes. I will add photos later once my husband vacates the bed lol. Im so happy to be done with box springs and frames that make noise and dont hold up This frame is super sturdy....OH, I FORGOT TO MENTION. The bed folds for easy maneuverability if you have to move it. Also the round legs are perfect.
