Terracotta's the best for most house plants overall. I've always tried to find other pots made from a material that breathes. I'm still a bit baffled that I haven't been able to do that. It's just great that they have now designed some Terracotta pots that look as great as these. There are now others available as well. I would like to see some shorter wider varieties.

After a break from house plants, I have recently gotten back into house plant gardening. I wanted some ceramic/stoneware planters that were a little retro but classic. I have had a bad experience with big box garden center ceramic planters killing my plants. That was the reason I took a break. These planters are beautiful, high quality, and include drainage hole screens and felt coasters to prevent scratching your furniture! They came well packaged with no imperfections or chips. After several weeks my plants are thriving in them. Glad I ordered these.

Snake plant looks great in this. Good quality and a real nice look. Not sure why I am asked to rate if it is “lightweight” - the weight shouldn’t matter. They are not cheaply made - they seem just right!
