I just used the FBSPORT 7 × 7 ft Beach Tent Sun Shelter on a family trip, and I’m honestly impressed. It’s super easy to set up—even solo—all you need to do is unfold it, fill the integrated sandbags, pop in the poles, and you’re shaded in minutes. The Uv50+ fabric really feels protective (it blocks nearly 98% of UV rays) and there’s even a side curtain to keep the sun out as it moves. It comfortably fits 3–4 people, and the included storage pocket and carrying bag are thoughtful touches I didn’t even know I needed. It held up surprisingly well in breezy conditions thanks to the sandbag design, though I’d still play it safe and avoid it in strong gusts . Overall? It’s lightweight, durable, and practical—perfect for family beach days, backyard hangouts, or fishing trips. A solid, no-fuss way to stay shaded and relaxed this summer.

I honestly was going to return this after my first use at the beach but decided to give it another shot. I learned that I set it up poorly the first time. Put the poles in the wrong spot and the conditions were far too windy and rainy for this shade structure. Setting this up the second time it was great! There were big gusts but it held up with no issue. I will say that the wind does blow the material into you though, so depending where your seats are it can be annoying. This is definitely for 2-3 people, not more. There really isn’t a ton of shade compared to a 10x10 pop up tent, but it’s very portable and easy to setup with 2 people. The kit includes the tent material (sand won’t stick to it like other towels), 2 poles, a sand scooper, bungees and ground pins. I haven’t tried to use this in a yard, only the beach. What I like- easy to setup. Provides shade. I wish it was waterproof, but it doesn’t claim to be. So I can’t knock it for that. Honestly, it held up great and i was a lot less worried about it flying away than the other beach umbrellas on the beach. Note- it takes up a lot of ground cover. So if you’re going to a crowded beach you might not be able to utilize it. Just something to consider

Easy to put up by myself, quick to put up. Withstood strong winds on the beach. Depending on the direction of the sun the sunshade itself only shades a small area but it's perfect for 2 people. I don't love the fabric, reminds me of polyester stretch pants and I thought the color was more of an aqua than darker teal like blue. I do love the compact size and bag as it's easily transportable and having th shovel with it is a plus. Reasonably priced and seems like it will last a while.

I just received this beach tent and my first impression is very positive. The overall quality looks great, and the poles feel sturdy and well-made. Everything seems durable and reliable. I’m really looking forward to using it at the beach, but unfortunately it’s been a bit cold in New York these days. That said, I can already tell this will be super useful in the summer, definitely something I’ll be using all the time for beach trips and outdoor days!
