I’m sick of these companies calling their covers “waterproof”. Both of my daughter’s wheelchair cushions were wet within a 35 minute drive. I do like the buckle underneath. It holds it on nicely but PLEASE stop using the word “waterproof “.

This is a lightweight cover that comes with a carry pouch that is fairly compact. Because it is lightweight, I'm not sure how durable it will be in the long run. It is certainly vulnerable to tearing if it comes in contact with anything sharp. You can see from the photos that we have a standard 3-wheel mobility scooter. It is not an extra large, heavy duty 4 wheeler. Because this is a universal cover, it is therefore quite large for our scooter. The good news is that this makes it really quick and easy to throw on. The bad news is that because it is so large, it could really catch a lot of wind in a storm. The photo shows the buckled strap that makes it "windproof", but to use this you have to snap it underneath the scooter. That would be awkward at best. I will use it in my garage to keep dust and dirt off the scooter. When we do take the scooter out, we will definitely carry this cover with us because it will offer good protection in the event of a sudden, unexpected storm and it is compact and lightweight enough in its case that it will be easy to carry. It's large enough that it would probably fit over both my husband and the scooter, so two problems solved there! (only kidding) We don't ever intend to get caught in a squall, but things happen and this will prevent frying the electronics in the event that one occurs. This cover fits perfectly over my mobility scooter...I keep it in the garage so it get dusty pretty quickly so this cover will be a great solution for that problem..its also waterproof for added protection for outdoor use...its.very lightweight and easily folds small enough to fit into a small pouch on the back of my chair...its a good product ... show more
