I got this for when I hang out at my parents or go over for dinner. They will sit on their patio in the backyard if weather permits over anywhere else. Living in an area that sees all four seasons, they definitely hang on as long as possible as the nights get colder. This is perfect. It's a really simple design, just a few pieces, but it makes a really nice small fire and keeps us warm. Safety wise I would say be careful. It's as dangerous as any other fire. Keep an eye on it, have a backup plan if it gets too big. But honestly I've never been worried the times we used it. ... show more

This "FATORK Tabletop Fire Pit with Stand,Low-Smoke Firepit,Fueled by Pellets or Wood,Safe Burning,Indoor/Outdoor Mini Portable Personal Bonfire Pit,304 Stainless Steel with Travel Bag" is a nice little mini/personal firepit. It is not the smallest, but it is not a "campfire" size. The Solo Stove popularized the "secondary burn/combustion smokeless" firepit, and this FATORK one is just a miniaturized version that is meant to be put on a tabletop. It is about 7in in diameter and stand about 6-6.5in (with the stand). The fire tho, can shoot up as high as 2-3ft above the top of this pit/stove tho. The fire is very pretty, and this stove indeed effectively "smokeless", so, eye-tearing smoke is very minimal, close to none. I tried both type of fuel, wood blocks (splitted to fit inside this stove) or wood pellets, and both works fine in this. I even tried using charcoal, which didn't work too well for this as a "bonfire" as there won't be the asethetically pleasing "raging fire" coming out from the top when I am using charcoal. One concerns for me tho, is that I feel that the bottom is a little too hot for my comfort to put this (even with the stand) directly on my wooden table or even on my glass side table. So I have to put a few fire bricks underneath. Overall, this is a good little portable firepit, it is basically very much similar to Solo Stove's Mesa XL model. For $70, I think this FATORK is ok; yet, a Mesa XL can be have for $99 these days, I may consider getting that instead (as there are more color choices). This thing is tiny but works perfectly for a table top fire pit. Though tiny, this puts put some good heat. The quality is fantastic and matches name brands on most levels. The key to using this correctly is to make sure the wood inside is shorter than the top lip. This keeps the airflow and heat flowing. This was a very disappointing purchase. Much much smaller then other table top bone fires. Low quality, do yourself a favor buy the solo stove. This brand is trash. Likely where it will end up.

I got this fire pit for entertaining and it definitely delivers. I used it on a picnic table at our property. For full disclosure, I had a fireproof mat underneath while on the table. (I’d rather be safe than sorry). We made smores with the stove. It was a hit. I used pieces of wood as the fuel. The stove works perfectly. The stove is a good grade of stainless steel. Not at all thin like some stoves I’ve seen. It can burn wood pellets in addition to wood, but the manufacturer recommends using the pellet adapter if this is your fuel choice. Some of the features I like are: (1) the stove holder (tripod) folds up and can be tucked inside the stove when not in use; (2) the stove body fits securely into the stove holder and I didn’t feel like it would tip; (3) the stove has a nice appearance; (4) it burned well; (5) the top piece flips upside down inside the main body for more compact storage; and (6) it comes with a storage bag that is easy to put on (even has extra room if you want to carry a few extra dry sticks of wood with it). My one complaint (if you can call it that) is the instructions are difficult to read (gray printing on a black background). Overall, this stove was a hit at my get-together and gets a five star rating! I would recommend it. ... show more
