I really enjoyed putting this little library together. It was my second Fat Brain Toy, the first being Gracie's Greenhouse. The Library turned out super cute! It was tedious, thinking and fun at the same time! I missed the instruction on marking the 'paper boxes' with their coordinates, so I placed them where they fit. I didn't like the plain red chair, so that fabric got changed out for something different and I added a ribbon to the edges. Also, did a different paint on the base. The downside was the light fixture, I followed the instructions looking and studying them under a magnifying glass numerous times and the light did not work, even following the test procedure. I will be ordering more of these kits, it is so satisfying to sit an hour here or two to work on them. and when you have a day when the weather is just so so, these kits will brighten your time spending working on them and really relaxing while using your mind in a good way to shut out anything else.

I took the attached picture when the kit was about 1/3 finished. It looks wonderful and is great fun to put together. If you are used to doing tiny work (cross stitch, small-piece jig saw puzzles, model airplanes) and can follow pictured instructions, this kit will not be difficult for you. But you won't be able to do it in a weekend! The tiny books take forever to make but they look very nice when they are done. Warning, though: This is not a kit for kids, not even for very crafty kids.

I am an older man who has plenty of time to use up and this kit fills the bill. It is by far not a very easy kait to finish. A lot of work building all the units that go into the final model. But it is one heck of a lot of fun to do. Might be too hard for very young kit builders.

I bought this for my nephew but I secretly wanted one for myself. It is a very intricate kit and there are lots of tiny pieces. It would have been nice to have included the glue in the kit (and since it was Xmas, we couldn't run out and get some). Very cute kit.

My mature and very creative 10 year old granddaughter, Harper, really wanted this library, even though it was rated for older kids. It has been a lifesaver for activity during the COVID-19 Isolation. She has loved it.
