I now have three similar style floor lamps from Brightech, three different models, and love them all. This lamp was no exception, it was easy to assemble and looks great. Love that the three way LED bulb is included. Very bright. It's so nice to have a physical switch. I'm over the touch controls on lamps, they are so fussy. The bulb and socket are the normal type so it won't be any trouble replacing the bulb. Just in case anyone is wondering you can't leave out one or more pole segments and end up with a shorter lamp. The cord is already inside of the segments and exits the bottom segment before going through the base. If you wanted a shorter lamp You'd have to cut off the cord plug to pull the cord out of the unwanted segments then replace the plug. ... show more

This review is for the Brightech Sky Dome Dimmable LED Floor Lamp. PROS + 150W Max Watt. ~ Bulb is not visible through lamp shade, however larger bulbs will stick out above the shade! ~ The base is curved. This can be a pro or con depending on your taste. CONS - 4.5" Shade Height is short. Larger Bulbs can been seen above the top of the shade! - Overpriced compared to other lamps - Thin 2.5" diameter black metal 'tubes' This lamp supports bulbs up to 150W, but larger bulbs, like most 20W+ (2600 Lumen) LEDs will stick out above the lamp shade. In a small room this doesn't matter, but if you look at the lamp across a larger room, you will see the bulb sticking out. ... show more

The only negative I have to say is that one of the tubes wouldn't screw in completely. It is still sturdy, but visually I can see a little space where the threads are showing. Also, when I go to use it for the three-way bulb, it only adjusts to 2-way until I turn it on, off and back on. So, it likely isn't the best in terms of the components, but it still does the job.
