These simple round biscuit cutters fall into the area where you might ask, "won't a simple glass do the trick?" to cut biscuit rounds? These are great because they make a clean cut that doesn't "seal" the edges of your biscuits. Using a blunter edge, even though it might cut a round, may seal the dough on the edges making it harder for your biscuits to rise. And you want your biscuits to rise, don't you?
