I got this to wear during a dog show that was calling for rain and we were showing outdoors. It’s a nice coat for the price and I’ve always wanted a trench coat. If you’re petite like me (I’m 5’), the sleeves will be long (as usual). And due to my body shape, the bottom was a bit tight with the bottom buttoned, so I left it unbuttoned, but the top fit perfectly.

I am torn on whether I will keep this coat for the price I paid, only for two reasons, the length for me personally is too long, I'm 5'8 and I would just prefer it to hit higher. I did listen to reviewers on going up in size, I can usually wear a bigger medium, or a smaller large, this was a smaller large to me. I'm generally around 163lb, this coat fit fine, arms a little big for my taste. It was packaged neatly but my biggest issue with this coat is that when I tried it on and put my hands in the pockets I felt a wrapper and pulled it out, I was scared it was gonna be a used kleenex but its a candy or gum wrapper and it's pretty worn looking which makes me think someone wore this for awhile and then returned it, there are no stains or anything but if the seller is going to sell a coat that's already been sent out and returned I think they should disclose it or at the very least check the pockets, so just knowing the dirty wrapper was in there I'm not even excited about this coat which I'm realizing as I'm writing this, so now I have decided I will return it, ha. But overall it really is a beautifully made coat and I would recommend! I left 4 stars for the wrapper, hopefully the seller will read this and be more diligent in the future and check the pockets before re-selling.

Pros: Fits nice through the body, good weight to it, has all of the “traditional” trench coat features I was looking for (flap on chest, buttons on sleeves, back flap, buckle on belt), sleeves are long enough! Cons: The belt is so high above the waist! I can’t believe no one has mentioned this. It looks like a maternity coat above the belly. If I keep, I’m going to have to get that altered. Also, the color and sheen are a little strange. Bluish tone to the red, satin sheen. I thought I’d hate it just looking at it in the packaging, but once on it is quite flattering. It fits very nice through the middle of the body, but it is tight across the shoulders. Limited mobility there. I’m a typical size 6/8/M, and this is the M.

I was looking for a cute and neutral coat to wear to work and this is it! I am 5’4” and 125lbs and I got a small. I live in Arizona so our winters aren’t super cold and this jacket is perfect for the climate here. Only negative I’d say is the pockets had a bunch of trash in them which was kind of gross. I’ve noticed that with some Amazon clothing purchases that it doesn’t seem like returns are inspected very well. Other than that, I highly recommend this coat!
