The instructions were clear as day. It does take a long time. But not because it is difficult or you need help. It is because there are so many pieces and parts. Which is a good thing. It showed the quality. Each large component of the furniture had lots of small parts to put together to make that component, before you put those components together to make the bad and side tables. It just showed the sturdiness these pieces of furniture will have for years to come. Oh and the color/ finish is just like in the picture. The seller shipped immediately. And it's very well priced!? Our king bed frame is great for its value! It took a few hours to put together but it is very sturdy! It is also very pretty and I think comparable to other “name brand” bed frames in terms of appearance and quality. The only real drawback is the bottom drawers since the wheels are not on tracks and they can slide out of place, but they are large and allow for a good amount of storage! ... show more

There are LOTS of parts and it will take a while to put this bed together. Best to use an electric drill with the Allen wrench (hex key) size as there are many to attach. The instructions are almost perfect in description and picture and when fully constructed, the bed looks great. Follow the instructions EXACTLY as stated. The frame is nice and love the color but the the quality of the product is not great. The drawers are very uneven and cheap . I have to find a way to to adjust so the drawers work more efficiently. The are wire baskets . There also were so dings in the bed frame. I bought it over 30 days ago and just put it together otherwise i would return . ... show more
