This is a good quality farmhouse style chandelier that puts out a good amount of bright as each bulb supports 40 watts. It arrived packaged well although it came in styrofoam. The chandelier is painted a nice dark black that appears to be well done in that it doesn’t scratch easily and should last for the life of the chandelier. I also like that the length of the chain is adjustable so you can easily mount it to exactly the height that you need. Assembly was quick and easy - it comes with the tools that you need the whole chandelier and each of the bulb mounts already come pre-attached - you simply pull them into their appropriate mounts and tighten them. It took all of about fifteen minutes for me to assemble everything. When mounting the chandelier to your electrical source be aware that the wires are not color coded as most electrical appliances come, but they are marked so not a big deal. I consider this a good quality chandelier, especially for the price, so I do recommend it if you want this type of style and nice bright light. ... show more

This lamp is a simple and elegant addition to any room, but it requires some patience and care to assemble it. The good thing is that it comes with everything you need, including a lot of chain that you can adjust to your desired length. I didn't need nearly as much as was included. You don’t need any instructions, just follow the picture and you can’t go wrong. The downside is that the lamp is made of thin, powder-coated steel that can scratch easily, so be gentle when you handle it. It feels like you are wrestling with a metal octopus as you try to fit the pieces together. The only tool they provide is a small wrench that you will probably discard after you finish. Another issue is that the lamp sockets are plastic and you have to align the bulbs carefully to make them stand upright. The bottom metal part of the lamp also protrudes from the top, which might bother some people. For the price, it's fine, but don't pay too much for it. ... show more

I really like the finished product but man, it comes boxed up completely disassembled! It took me longer to assemble it than it did to hang it. I really like the look though, and it comes with the tool to assemble it, so in the end I am pleased. Would recommend, but just be prepared for a lengthy install time. ... show more

this chandelier is beautiful and fits my home perfectly. I did not expect for it to arrive so compact and I was worried it would be smaller than I anticipated. it arrives fully disassembled, but is very easy to assemble and it is just as large as the pictures show. Unfortunately, it does not come with bulbs, but they dont cost much so that's no deal breaker! another thing to note is that the wire is not color coded so you have to figure out which wire is positive and which is negative. depending on the type of bulbs you get, this might be more important to verify before installing. The media could not be loaded. This chandelier was everything I hoped it would be. It is classy, sexy, with a side of sophistication! I have to do a couple of tweaks (like crown molding) to make it even better. BUT no complaints. With any light fixture, quality of the finish paint or coating and how metal pieces are attached as in welds are a main concern. In this case, this fixture came with an even finish with a good sheen. I inspected each part and also found the welds to be above average. Of course, there is assembly required by the purchaser, but it is relatively simple. It is not that heavy, around 5.5 pounds as it is mostly shaped tubing, meaning the fixture will place very little strain on the ceiling electric outlet box. This would be a better value if bulbs had been included. The seller provided the measurements and while also including the design, this fixture would be best suited for a small area. ... show more
