Setting it up was also very easy and straightforward. The reason I took off a star is because the description says the cushion covers are removable and washable - that’s only partly true. The back cushions are removable, however the seats are not. It’s not the end of the world because a Little Green Machine or something similar will do the trick just fine. However, with the ability to turn into sleeper, blanket storage, and flip down cushion with cupholders and charging ports it exceeded my expectations. Came in three large boxes, slightly damaged during shipping but no damage to product. Fabric is soft, bottom cushions are very stiff. Pillows and back rests are soft. Assembly was easy. Took about an hour to unbox and assemble. Some small pulls in fabric here and there and the seams for the side pieces seen to be pulling apart. Very small imperfections just being 100% honest. The couch sits high and you feel slightly tilted forward on the section without the chase. Once you pop up the ottoman up it is very comfortable to lounge on. I'll update the review after a few weeks of use. 9.11.24 UPDATE Couch is very small width wise. I'm 5'9 189 pounds and laying down on it normally, it feels like I'm going to fall off. The chase is very short and my feet almost hang off the end when sitting normally. I wouldn't buy this for an everyday, all the time use. If you are looking for an occasional use, place for guests to sleep, this is probably an OK option. Also, the usb and usb-c ports are terrible. I plugged my USB - C cord into it then into my phone and it said check your cable because there might be a problem. Tried another cable, same thing, barely charges the phone. First of all it’s a beautiful couch, extremely solid and heavy. Love the fabric however our cat punctuated two small holes in it on day one! This same cat never damaged our old couch so if you have a cat beware. We keep it covered to protect it which is no big deal. I gave it four stars because pictures showed the chase lounge on either side, which can be done. However of if you put the chase on one side it moves the drop down to the end rather then in the middle where it’s pictured, not a deal breaker but pretty important. So the plan was to move it to the other side but the couch is so solid and well built that we can’t get it back apart, lol. It’s very heavy so I can’t move it but my husband can. It is very stiff but I see that as a plus because you get great support. If you want a couch you can sink into tins isn’t the couch for you.. the cushions are very thick and the back pillows stay secured. The arm pillows are a comfy plus. Bed pulls out and up easily and there is ample storage space in the chase. Took less than 4 hours to put together. If you are purchasing this couch to use to sleep on it won’t fit the average adult but great for a couple of grandkids. I’d definitely buy this again but I’d like to have known beforehand to place the chase on the one side and to protect it from cats. ... show more
