  • Perfect for brick oven pizza.
This is a small inexpensive rocker type pizza cutter. It feels very well made in the hand.. not heavy but heavy enough. I use it to slice the thin crust pizzas I make in my brick oven. I rarely make pizza bigger than 11"-12" so this is a perfect compact tool for the pizza drawer. It is not sharp, but you could sharpen it if you wanted to. My kids use this as well so having a razor sharp 11" pizza cuter is not something I want. Just use a little elbow grease and it cuts the pizzas perfectly. The round grip is also centered over the blade (not offset like others I've seen)which allows you to deliver the maximum cutting force from you efforts. ... show more

  • Great product, vastly superior to pizza cutter wheel... but lots of sharp edges
This pizza cutter is cleaner, safer, and faster to operate than a wheel-style cutter. It's also less destructive to pizza. Because it cuts primarily with downward pressure, it doesn't push the cheese and toppings around nearly as much. The formed tubular handle is easy to grip with two hands, which lets you apply plenty of pressure (you do need to use firm downward pressure). Two handed-use, in my view the proper way to use this tool, naturally prevents the user from getting fingers in the way of the cutting action. This cutter is the perfect size for the 10" frozen pizzas I usually make. My only complaint, and the reason I deducted a star, is that as delivered this item had very sharp, unfinished edges and corners. Normally a sheet metal product intended for kitchen use would have all its non-cutting edges lightly filed and smoothed for safety. Not so here. Mine looked like it had been sheared, formed, and shipped without further treatment. All the metal edges, including the ends of the tubular handle part, had almost razor-like burrs along them. The two corners at the ends of the curved cutting edge were sharp like knife points. Before using this cutter I spent about fifteen minutes working on it with a file and emery cloth to smooth and slightly round all the edges and corners, even the cutting edge. Now it's a lot more hand- and dishwasher-friendly. The curved cutting edge does not have a true knife edge ground onto it. It's just a plain sheared edge like the rest of the piece. I didn't mind that, though. A super-sharp edge isn't necessary for the kind of cutting I'm doing, although it might allow it to cut with less pressure and even less disturbance to the food being cut. The cutter I received had no logos or graphics printed on it. Didn't matter to me, just mentioning it since the pictures show a logo. ... show more

  • Great Pizza Slicer and Rockin Chopper
Got it right on schedule, maybe a little early, but I unwrapped it gave it a quick wash and put it right to work slicing up some bread. Works great on Pizza doesn't drag the cheese or toppings like roller pizza slicers. I also used it to chop up some veggies. Worked great. The only down side is that it is only 12" so probably won't work great for delivery pizza, but that is presliced anyway so maybe it will work to do a quick re-slice. Very happy with the purchase and the price! ... show more

  • Probably not the one to buy
This pizza cutter is 11" long and the average frozen pizza is typically 12" across. Thus using it requires making two cuts instead of the one that other pizza cutters require. It was cheap, so I don't regret it, but in hindsight, a longer cutter would have been preferable. If you're careful, it can be operated safely, but it does not possess a plastic or wood grip like many other cutters do, so it can be very easy to hurt yourself if you're not careful. I didn't realize this, and one of the first times I used it, it slipped and resulted in a significant cut on my hand. This too, in hindsight would have argued for me ordering a different cutter with the appropriate grip covering. Having invested in this one, I'm reluctant to essentially spend the money again to get one without these issues, but hopefully you can benefit from my experience and hindsight. ... show more

  • Beware--Selling cheaper product with sticker over the cheaper brand name
I ordered this and received something that looked similar but significantly cheaper looking than what is pictured. When trying to figure out what went wrong and seeing "cookworks" NOWHERE on the box, I noticed a "cookworks" sticker over some other letters on the box. I peeled the sticker off and found Exultimate USA. I looked up this product and it looks exactly like the piece of junk I was holding. It's also cheaper. Figuring this was an amazon mistake, I got a replacement. Same exact thing. So buyer beware, you're getting a different product than you are ordering. ... show more

  • Too short
Too short to cut a large pizza.

  • Works better than the roller type of pizza cutters
Easy to use and easy to clean. I got tired of the old roller type of cutters. They get dull and you have to go back and forth 2 or 3 times just to cut through the crust. This thing is fast and easy. Just rock it back and forth and its cut.
