This is a very good purchase and definitely a must have. It performs well for low-profile tires in my case. The device didn't get hot in its use, but the air nozzle did get warm at the base connected to the device. ••● I would not recommend leaving this device in a hot vehicle as this more than likely can damage the battery and alter battery health. ●•• After several uses, this device still held a nealy full charge (thumbs up). But what is unclear is if this device is fast charging capable and how long the device takes to fully charge at certain levels. ● It does NOT come with a charging wall plug. But I would recommend using the charging cable provided. I used a 10ft cord at first. Yeah... the power indicator on the device just blinked and blinked.... and blinked.... until I used the provided cable, and it started to actually charge. The charging wall plug I'm using is an extra Samsung fast charging plug I got laying around. ● It has battery over-charge protection. So when it's fully charged, the device screen shuts off. Another reason why you should protect this device from excessive extreme heat exposure. ● To me, the device feels well made. It's sturdy. And it's a good portable size, a bit smaller than I expected. It's powered sound level isn't even nearly half as loud as a full sized air compression tire inflator machine at a gas station. In its first use, because of its size, I thought this thing would take forever to air my tire from 20 psi to 38. It didn't at all. Maybe within about 2mins max. With all these weird named products on Amazon that I've NEVER heard before, I get sceptical and cautious. I did my research but still didn't know what to expect with this product. I have an air compressor that I plug in and it’s big and heavy. I have avoided small battery operated ones based on bad reviews, low power, slow inflation, etc. I saw an article and good reviews for this product so I took a chance. I wish I had done it sooner!! After charging it up, I was able to top off all of the tires on both of my cars and inflate from zero the tires on a garden wagon I have. The battery still shows 100%. I love that you can set the pressure and it stops automatically. On my big compressor I have to use a gauge - inflate for some time - measure again and then either let air out or add more. Really a pain. This unit goes to the set pressure and it’s very accurate. It doubles as an emergency battery backup for your phone or iPad as well. Also has an LED light for inflating in the dark. I only wish the hose from the unit to the tire was a little longer. Haven’t tried it on my bicycle tires but this has to be much faster and more efficient than my floor pump. Small enough to keep in the car. I’ll likely get another as a gift for my son. ... show more

I got this to replace an air pump that plugged into a cigarette lighter. I really like this for its portability. The display is large, it has a light you can turn on to see in the dark, and it charges up fast. I just used my USB-C Phone charger since that has a long cable. (This comes with a very tiny cable, but I didn't use that). I pumped up 4 Tesla car tires from 39psi to 45psi on 1 charge which looks like it took about 2/3 of the charge. The unit does not vibrate nearly as much as my old one, but it did get a bit hot, so I gave it a 2 minute rest after 2 tires as a precaution even though it does have overheat protection, which did not come on, so it never actually over-heated. ... show more

I work on vehicles and travel a lot. I mainly purchased it for my SUV 20 inch tires. I realized the battery doesn't hold up well with the larger tires. I gave my first review and the company contacted me. They were awesome and explained they are coming out with a unit for larger tires by the end of the year. This unit I own have done everything well except the one thing I purchased it mainly for. So I am adding to my initial review. I think everyone should know what to expect. My son has used this for our lawn mower tires and some sports balls. It does the job. It is nice when we don't have to turn on my large air compressor that scares my dog. :) That was the main reason for my purchase. (Original Post) Alex from Legit Street Cars recommended this air compressor for traveling. Maybe this is a flukes.....But I just filled up my Sequoia's tires before going on a road trip. Each tire needed about 5psi. The battery was full when I started. Now I am down to two bars. It also took about 10 mins to fill those 4 tires with a little air. I had a cheap $20 off brand inflator and it worked about the same. ... show more
