I've purchased several door shades like this from different companies and think they are a great idea. This one isn't blackout, but it does help block the late afternoon sun. I used a handheld steamer to get the wrinkles out. I use this on a back door with a window in a rental house. I didn’t want to drill holes into the door, but I wanted to block the light through the glass. It’s very easy to roll up when you want to raise it. You just use Velcro taps to hold it in place and release the Velcro tabs when you want the fabric to hang down. I was not sure to buy or not buy. Others said their didn't stick. Mine has been up for 1/2 year now and its still holding strong. I did clean the door where the Velcro tape was going to stick with denatured alcohol just to make sure there wasn't any cleaning product residue or grease from kitchen on the door. I wish this company had this in 36 wide. I would do my wall of windows with them.....HINT HINT ...please make them....I would buy again from this company. ... show more

The velcro has to be installed yourself which isn't a big deal. But I put the curtain up per the instructions and the weight of it is too much; it just peeled off and fell. I tried several times. I like the curtain itself so I ordered a heavy-duty roll of velcro.
