This little tea set is absolutely adorable! I am very happy with the quality; all of the pieces are glazed perfectly, with lovely pink printing, and the porcelain is thick enough that I am not worried about it shattering with regular use. This is the quality of a full size tea set, just sized for kids (yet large enough to actually use, see pic of comparison to my Japanese teapot). I ordered this set for my 13 year old daughter, and she was SO excited when she saw it. She has already used it several times to serve tea to her younger sisters. The tea does need to be brewed in another pot, as this teapot has no strainer, but that would be my only complaint. I like that the lid is designed so that it stays on while pouring. We hand wash all the pieces, and they still look pristine. The entire set was well-packaged in a dense foam insert inside of a cute pink polka-dot cardboard case, ready for gift-giving. This is a gorgeous small-sized tea set that my daughter loves using. I would absolutely not hesitate to order it again, and recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful this tea set is. If it was bigger I would want one myself! It is very elegant but fragile so best used while sitting on the floor. My daughter constantly asks to get this set down to play with.

I hate giving bad reviews, so I'm going to qualify this one! If I was just rating the Tea Set I would give it 5-stars! The set is cute and looks durable! The Box, on the other hand, is terrible. I ordered this 3x! On another positive note, each box arrived very quickly, in shipping boxes securely packed by Amazon. The first 2 presentation boxes had torn corners (see pic 1) AND broken latches. The 3rd one only had a broken latch ... not at all suitable for gift giving. The latch is poorly designed and assembled. So, if you don't care about the box, buy the tea set. If you do care, don't buy it ... you will be disappointed.

The tea set itself seems to be sturdy but the Storage case it comes in is flimsy made of cardboard and was already ripped when I opened it. This was supposed to be a gift to my granddaughter but I can’t give her some thing that looks like it’s used because the case is worn and ripped! Too bad they can’t make the case a little more durable to even stand up to shipping!
