I bought these for their beauty not particularly to use, they are on the small size so if your a habitual tea drinker I wouldn't recommend them, but for they dainty beauty they're lovely in my display case. Tea sets can be very expensive as I've collected a few of them for display, my Prince Albert set being by far the most expensive and most pieces were shipped from England and several sellers charged over $50 shipping per item and I bought service for 8 plus matching coffee server, and dessert plates, in comparison these are a steal and quite beautiful, they also come with small porcelain spoons which I thought is a nice touch, My girls are tea drinkers and I'm now elderly so when I shop I do so with them in mind to have in remembrance of me and the great times we've shared over the years.
