This purple foam does the job but I would prefer the purple shampoo over the foam. He foam disappears right away & you can’t tell how much you’ve put on. It does what it’s supposed to but it leaves your hair super rough so make sure to use a moisturizing conditioner.

I wish this were a bit more moisturizing and then it would be absolutely perfect! But I just make sure I take time to use more leave in conditioned/oil in my hair to combat this. This works SO SO well! And you don’t have to leave it on very long to get results. I add it to my dry hair and let it sit before I shower (I wear gloves to do this) and 15/20 minutes will do the trick! One time I got distracted cleaning before my shower and left it in for an hour and it actually turned parts of my hair grey/silver. Oops! ... show more

This is a God send. I dyed my hair platinum blond. It did that but had a yellow tinge to it. So I dyed it a week later with a icy platinum blond. Even better a cool tone. I used purple shampoo and conditioners that were so so. So I said let me try this. I used it last night and was careful cause this product is the real deal. It said leave on for 3-5 minutes. But I said I’ll try one minute when I rinsed it was a glorious white ice blond without a tinge of brass or yellow. I cannot believe it’s actually the color of the girl in game of thrones which I never watched but knew the character. It’s INCREDIBLE. THIS IS THE THE COOLEST ICE BLOND I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Okay so this product definitely works. You will definitely get the yellow or brassy tones off your hair. I’m big on hair maintenance as I’ve been an ash blonde for about 10 years now. My hair is still super long but this product can def weaken your hair. I felt a difference the first time I used it. I didn’t leave it on for more than 4 mins and I felt thinning immediately. I have a large section of silver in the front of my hair/bangs that was starting to turn yellow. I put this on my silver hair about 5 mins before I get into the shower and it keeps the yellow away. I use it about once a week.
