My boyfriend and I are always having a coffee issue- I like at least 2 cups in the mornings where he goes back and forth from having one cup some days to not having any coffee on others. It's hard using our traditional pot to make enough without also wasting it (on days he doesn't have any or that I don't have as much as I thought I was going to). This is the perfect solution. I didn't want a Keurig because I don't like a 6-8 oz. cup of coffee...I don't consider it a cup of coffee unless it is at least 12 oz. This machine allows you to make as large or small of a cup as you want just by brewing how much water you put in it. The max is just over 16 oz. So I am able to brew a nice healthy sized travel cup of coffee in just one brew. You simply add about 2 scoops of coffee into the basket for this much mater. Then, if my boyfriend chooses to have coffee, he can add as much water as the size of cup he wants and then just add about a scoop of coffee to the basket for his tiny coffee tasting. I love how versatile this is and literally is exactly what I was looking for in an individual sized coffee machine. Bonus points that it also is set up to use K-Cups if you want! So although we will mostly just use our own coffee grounds, you can use a k-cup too! This machine is a bargain too since I assumed something like this would run at least $100.

I'd describe this coffee maker as adequate. It's probably best deployed in a household of responsible individuals, though, because I don't think it could take much punishment if people are rough with their appliances. If you want to use a short mug and elevate it to avoid splashing, you use a plastic part that inserts by plastic tabs. This, to me, seems fairly flimsy and likely to wear out or break if you use it this way, spilling hot coffee everywhere when it goes. I just don't tempt fate in this way. Other than that, which is a minor issue for me, I like the coffee maker. It is very compact, and the water level is easy enough to read on the side when filling it. The meter is on the right side, though, so you won't be able to see it if you put the coffee maker with a wall or some such to its right. The top lid you insert your coffee into is also made of plastic, but it feels quite solid and latches firmly. I'm not clear on exactly what the over ice button does that the other two buttons do not, but it doesn't really matter. Experiment, find the button that makes the coffee you like the most, then push it when you want coffee. If you use shorter glasses and you're concerned with getting splatter on your surfaces nearby, I'd pass on this and get something made of metal to support your cups, otherwise I find this perfectly acceptable and pleasantly compact.

There’s only two of us in my household and this thing helps us save on how much coffee we make. The machine is easy to clean, assemble, and operate as it comes along with a great set of instructions. Its small so it doesn’t take up much space and can be placed anywhere that makes sense outside of a good ol’ coffee bar table. I’m rather new to coffee as I hated it as a child and allowed that bias to mess with my adulthood for a while. I’m glad to finally be aboard the coffee train. This also comes along with a recipe book that I’m looking forward to brewing some options from there. The machine brews the coffee nicely and quickly which is great as it keeps me out of a drive thru. I recommend this product to anyone searching for a good quality convenient coffee maker !

I had been using the microwave for my instant coffee, but it's so hard to make it the perfect temperature every time. With this Famiworths Single Serve Coffee Maker I don't have to worry about that. I put the water in and it heats it up to the perfect temperature every time. I also like that I could use it to make tea, or toss in one of my k-cups and have it brew the perfect cup of whatever I'm in the mood for. I could even use coffee grounds if I wanted to mess with that as it comes with a little coffee filter basket. It's so easy to use, and clean. I'm really happy I found this Coffee Maker.

I don’t drink coffee but I got this so I can use my k pod teas and it works like a charm!!! I tried hot and iced tea with no problems easy to clean and use. I love the little fold out tray for a smaller cup. I think it’s definitely a value

Overall a wellmade versatile coffee maker that didn't take up much room on the counter top. I compared this to my kurig , and it works just as well at this point. It stands tall leaving room for multiple size cups. It warned in about 30 to 40 seconds and then filled a 16 oz cup in about the save time or a little less. Would recommend at this price point.
