Nice plates but they aren’t pure white like in the photo, kind of off white. I would return them but don’t want to go through the effort, so I’ll keep them. But a little disappointed.

I was introduced to Famiware Porcelain Dinnerware a few months ago when I was shopping for dinnerware for my new house. I picked out two sets to go in my country kitchen. I love everything about those sets - the unique styles and colors and the overall quality of the products. When I had the chance to try their latest set, of course I jumped on it and I am not disappointed. Famiware has done it again! They came out with another stunning set of dinnerware with the look and feel of dinnerware reminiscent of days gone by. The white porcelain base paired with the black rim is truly gorgeous and would be a fantastic addition to any country kitchen. The set includes four dinner plates, four salad plates ,and four cereal/soup bowls. The plates have a 1/2 inch rim all around them and the bowls have generous 2 1/2 inch sides. The bowls hold 24 ounces of liquid. The set was very well packaged and all the pieces arrived perfectly in tact. Famiware stands by their products and the box includes a card letting you know to contact them if there are any damaged pieces. From past experience, I also know that they follow up with customers to make sure they are happy with their purchases. Because this is porcelain dinnerware there can sometimes be imperfections in the firing or glazing so I wanted to point out the circular markings on the plates. Each of the plates has the slight shadow of the circular rim on the bottom of the plates. This does not bother me in the slightest - I actually think it adds to the charm of the design - but it might not work for some. The plates & bowls are microwave and dishwasher safe and, although they might t appear to be delicate, they are extremely durable and are just fine in the dishwasher. I love to cook and, as such, I am one of those people that have several different sets of dinnerware for serving different types of meals or just to mix it up a little. At this price point, it's easy to have beautiful dinnerware for your everyday use. If you have a country or farmhouse kitchen, you gotta get this set!!

I love the minimalist look of this dinnerware set. Ready for everyday use, after a month of use I can say these plates can withstand handling by the kids and washing in our dishwasher. The rim of the plates is higher than I anticipated but even so the plates fit into our dishrack by the sink with zero issues. These plates feel and look well-made. The bone white contrasted with Dutch blue is beautiful. Note: the shape of the bowls with their straight sides means they cannot be nestled inside one another when storing. We've had to think outside the box with where we can store the bowls because our usual storage capacity was not able to fit them.
