Absolutely love this dinnerware set! The design is beautiful, and it has a high-end look and feel without the high-end price tag. The quality is excellent, and each piece feels sturdy and well-made. The size is perfect for everyday meals as well as entertaining guests. It looks even better in person and really elevates my table setting. ... show more

    • Beautiful and well made
Color: Nebulas Blue Set name: Star Dinnerware Set Number of Items: 12
Famiware star dinnerware sets plates and bowls set of 4 12 piece dish set ribbed Nebulas Blue. Food grade, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, lead free, space saving and scratch resistant. These arrived like-new and undamaged with lots of padding. We opted for the added extra box instead of shipping in just the regular one. My husband and I have been using the same plain Jane melamine dinnerware set for the last 6 years. I’ve been dreaming about this set since I discovered the famiware brand but have been saving up. Since it was on sale for Black Friday my hubby decided to surprise me with it for an early Christmas present. I’m so glad he got it!! It’s beautiful!!! I’m in love lol. Because of the reactive glaze, each one is slightly different in person. Which means, if you are perfectionist, you might be unhappy with this set, fyi. Some plates are visibly darker or lighter than others, etc. but I don’t mind it at all. Personally I love the uniqueness! The only negative thing I could say is I noticed some preexisting scuffs on the bottom of one of the plates during unboxing. It’s a little annoying if you look close, but not enough to really cause a problem. So far we’re loving them. They’ve held up to the dishwasher and don’t heat up in the microwave. Only the food gets hot! So refreshing! I’ve sliced some food on one plate with a sharp knife and it didn’t scratch. I was curious how the bowls would be in person. They’re a good size, not too deep or too wide. They fit soups and pasta dishes but help with portion control as they’re smaller than my old ones(but I like that!) If I wanted a size-up I could always order their pasta bowls. Also, I like the ribbing. It isn’t too deep or obnoxious but enough that you can feel it slightly and it helps with gripping/holding the plates. So far we are thrilled with this lovely dinnerware set and hope it lasts us a long time. I will update here in the future if I have anything else to add. ... show more

I absolutely love this dish set. The quality exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. Everything has a really nice weight to it. It’s not too heavy, but sturdy enough that it doesn’t feel cheap at all. One thing I saw in other reviews was that the bowls were “too small,” but I honestly think they’re the perfect size for everyday use. Another huge plus is how well everything stacks. If you’re like me and care about keeping your kitchen organized, then this set is a dream. It saves space and looks super clean. I also ended up purchasing the matching pasta bowls and sauce bowls, and I’m so glad I did because it really pulls everything together and gives a more complete and elevated look. Overall, this set feels high-quality, looks beautiful, and is super functional for daily use. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

    • I love these dishes!
Color: Smoky Blue Set name: Star Dinnerware Set Number of Items: 12
These are more beautiful in person. I love the lips on them that keep the food on the plate. I have chipped a few but I'm just getting used to quartz countertops after a lifetime of laminate so it's probably me. I've used these for several months before posting this review and they have been microwaved and in the dishwasher repeatedly with no issues. I do not regret purchasing these at all. There are variations in the glaze but just enough to make it look like real glazed pottery and not a mass-produced fake paint job. They all still match. One thing of note, because of the design you can not load your dishwasher as full as you can with flat plates. ... show more

    • Clumsy-Proof!
Color: Deep Forest Set name: Star Dinnerware Set Number of Items: 12
Husband and I have had this set for a few months now, and I am not disappointed! Fair price for the quality. I'm very clumsy, so I often *accidentally* bang the dishes together when im washing them or putting them away, and so far not a scratch on them! I say these pass the clumsy-proof test. Only con i can note is the walls of the plates are a bit tall, so if you have a amazon dish drying rack like me, they're a bit tough to get in and out from between the wires. I got the technique down, but I get a giggle out of husband's struggle. ... show more
