  • Another great kids book from Jon Gordon Co.
Showing kids the power of being positive is not an easy task. But Authors Jon Gordon and Damon West nailed it with their new children’s book The Coffee Bean for Kids, marvelously illustrated by Korey Scott. A spin-off of their adult book The Coffee Bean, the children’s version hits the mark on showing our youngsters the value of spreading their positivity around. I love that the emphasis is that “it all starts with you kid!” Being a coffee bean and positively transforming those around you can lead to awesome leadership skills when we get older. I can’t wait to read Coffee Bean for Kids to my grandkids and kids at school. Great job Jon, Damon and Korey! ... show more

  • Glad to be a Coffee Bean
Very enlightening book needed for individuals of all ages especially during the negative pandemic world that we live. Each of us is different. How has the environment changed you? Carrot, egg or Coffee Bean? A very simple lesson told in a very powerful way.

  • Well received by my 6th grade class
I do SEL lessons and this book is a great one. I’m going to try and start a coffee bean club at school. Be cautious with object lessons and 10-11 year olds. I gave them each a coffee bean to put in their pocket like the example in the book. By the end of the day I heard a kid ate their coffee bean and threw up. Coffee beans were crushed in the floor of other teacher’s rooms. I should have known, but I am hoping the majority of them took t her lesson to heart. I’m currently reading the one for adults. ... show more
