They do make it clear the dishes can look different and if you are unhappy with any of the differences, they want you to reach out to them. These plates work well for me. Dishwasher and microwave safe, and they don’t take up much room in my cabinets. My only complaint is that most of the large plates had pitting in the glaze surface.
