    • Scratch your counter on the bottom
Seriously the bottoms of these scratch whatever you put them on. Yeah all your nice furniture is wrecked if you buy these. Thankfully I noticed this immediately and rather than send it back to Amazon I gave them a quick "wet sand" with 150 grit sand paper and in less time than it would take to authorize a return they were smooth as porcelain on the bottom and my surfaces are safe. For the first one I just burnished the bottom with the cardboard that they shipped in and that will work if you don't have any sandpaper but takes longer. So yeah these are pretty great, just not quite safe to use right out of the box. 4 stars for nearly perfect, 1 star knocked off for having to sand them myself. ... show more
